Saw him live last night as a guest of his label. I was interviewing Prof fans and absorbing the FIRE show... you'll see the video when Jessicat gets it assembled along with footage and stills. Prof is a magnetic performer. I was a fan of THIS song going in (since it's the only one I'd heard) but emerged from the venue an true FAN. This is not intended personally as by definition opinions and tastes are subjective. There are a number of Ren reactors ( of which you are one) who just grate on me. My gripe isn’t even really with you, it’s with YT, I wish when you do a search for something, there were filters whereby one could exclude certain creators from the results. Even if this does cause you the slightest offense you can cheer yourself up by knowing that at least my expressing my irritation in your comments, helps the algo. As they say every cloud has a sliver lining! You’re just not for me but that doesn’t mean that for 1000’s of others you won’t be.. Peace out!

I’m gonna give your algo another little boost. When I was making these comments yesterday, I saw a comment (which has since been removed), made by some imbecile who basically said that this was his least favourite Ren track because there’s not enough Ren in it. You gotta love the special needs cases like this because Ren is virtually all over this track apart from the very first two or three bars. His vocals are layered in the mix virtually throughout. I’m not sure how anyone can really call themselves a Ren fan if they can’t hear that. By the way the Mixing is as fucking epic as the beat, it’s a work of art in its own right.

On first listen I wasn't entirely sold either... Second listen, with decent headphones, (big difference!) I started to like it. 3rd listen, absolutely love it! :) I think the main problem for some Renegades, myself included, is that there isn't enough Ren! lol. Prof is really really good here but Ren's charisma and performance skills just shine through! Lyrically brilliant, as always, of course! :) I'll definitely have to check out more Prof though! :)

Prof is really remarkable. Flow switches, singing, bars, production, humor, vulnerability, and legendary live performances - he's mastered the full skill set. His career goes back over 15 years, steadily building. You can pick any Prof song at random, and it's going to be great. This rabbit hole feels like silk boxer shorts.
