This was great! Thank you so, so much for including which colours you used in the description as I have Winsor & Newton markers (as well as other brands) & I am trying to get better at doing skin tones. I have always tended to just use one shade but really want to try to do shadows/etc & seeing the upclose and knowing the colours you used will really help.

Hi from New Zealand. Have recently stumbled across your channel and have greatly enjoyed what I've seen you produce. Your narration is really informative as to how you approach each project and its very appreciated. Star Wars is one of my all time favourite franchises, and this image is nothing short of outstanding. Picking an all time favourite character is difficult, because I've been a fan for almost 40 years, and in that time i've watched all the movies / animations / and read the original (now "Legends") novels in the expanded universe. I can't pick just 1 character, but a few of note are Salacious Crumb (the laughing jester pet of Jabba the Hutt), Mara Jade - from the early Heir to the Empire trillogy books (and later when she partners up with Luke), and thirdly Prince Xizor (leader of the Black Sun crime organisation - from the Shadows of the Empire novel). Looks fantastic! I’d like to see BOTH Mauls. I used to scan coloring book pages into my computer and then print out as needed (if this is an option for you.). Two young girls at the time would bicker over the same page, so I was able to provide the same image for both kids. Great series! Keep it up!

Boba Fett and Darth Maul have always been my faves.

Anakin Skywalker is also my favorite character. I've actually really grown to appreciate Hayden Christensen as Anakin over the years and think his performance is pretty good for the most part.

Looks even better than your Batman coloring! I’m glad to see you add your own details to the outlines again as well!It’s amazing what cheap materials can do when used by a skilled artist. I’ve managed to find really good uses for cheap materials myself like with Crayola markers by using good quality paper that actually can let them blend and a Pentel waterbrush to help get lighter tones if needed, and for inking a Sharpie pen works just as good as Micron pens. I’d love to see more artists show how cheap tools and materials can still look good with practice.

You did amazing! I am a huge fan of Star Wars and my favorite character is Obi-Wan Kenobi. For me, it is color. I'm not quite sure which Darth Maul picture to do. I love the look of the other one. This picture is already alluding to the fact that he is fighting Maul. I think it would be okay to do the second one.

Same dude huge Star Wars fan as well, hence my username lol. But favorite character has to be Darth Revan from the Old Republic. Also, no joke, I had this same coloring book as a kid haha. Also you should just scan in the image on the back of that Darth Maul in the fight scene and then you have both! Been loving this series and this one is probably my favorite!

I still say you should find some black and white comic pages, especially with big action scenes, or barring that, good contrast, and see what you can do with that. It's one thing to draw a static image, it's another to actively contribute to the telling of the story.
