I wish it was a bit longer because I loved your analysis of each movement. They do have the entire rehearsal video/unfiltered Cam available. He also has another performance that he choreographed himself and did the set and costume design for called Play with Fire, it is worth checking out honestly.

Hyunjin recently called "the best male kpop dancer" by Studio Choom ( dance channel you just reacted) He's truly one of a kind, very versatile and multifaceted dancer . If possible, please react to his self choreographed "Play With Fire" Cover too It's on completely different side, but worth it to check out , i was hypnotized and still can't get over that performance AOTM was really different from what he did so far, Hyunjin said he wanted challenge himself. It's really not common choreography for Kpop, you're right, he learned this style (as you already mentioned "krumping") in matters of 2 weeks simultaneously with their actual schedules as group. 2:50 well, Hyunjin called King of facial expressions for a reason, he knows the exactly right amount of intensity, it's never over the top. 5:40 by the way that glove transition wasn't the part of the choreography, Hyunjin added it himself And I totally agreed with your definition as "sexy insanity" :) well articulated He broke records with this performance, Thanks for your reaction and dissecting his performance!

The floor movements are even more impressive because he was actually in pain doing that. The studio Choom floor was harder than he anticipated and it's adorable how frustrated he got while recording that part

He started with zero experience and now he is the best dancer and performer of his generation. Already named Kpop Performance Leader and best Male Global Main Dancer; one of a kind. @@toastxer he actually films the reactions/analysis portion on his camera separately as well (he uses a phone for the stream facecam i believe, you can see it in the top right). not sure why these are cut-off mid-sentence though.

If you can believe it, early in his life Hyunjin was discouraged from dancing by people that told him it wasn’t good and he wasn’t coordinated. I think he always had it in him but his growth as a dancer is so inspirational considering the negativity that he determinedly grew away from. 🫶🏻
