It is SAD to not see more spectators in the stands... I know most people who race (pick it! - I surely have and won nats 20 years ago ((not rc cars/trucks) and I rarely paid attetion to a crowd... However, it sure is great to get new blood into the sport of r/c car (and OTHER) racing / flying, etc.. Thanks for putting this up... Hopefully more people will see it as time goes by... Generally takes a father, but NOT always...

Hey mark! Love your videos as they have truly reignited my interest into the hobby. My son and I have been having a blast with it and some of your videos have really helped. I as well am located in dfw and I take my son to indy in garland to run his slash in the future champions class. I now have to itch to race but I have a monster truck. Wanting to get either the tekno 48 2.0 or the tekno sct. What do you recommend and why. Disclaimer, you've sold me on tekno and they come highly recommended by indy so that's why I've narrowed it down to these two. Thanks and keep the videos coming!!

Why did they all have the engines covered and even when they were in the pits and had them started up they had their hands on them

There are these things called engine heater that heat the motor when the car is off. A lot of people also put towel over the heads of the engine to trap the heat and keep it warm. Some of them put their hands on the motor to gauge temperature.
