I’m experienced in my job, but always listen to the young ones, newly qualified etc as they are most up to date - any old timers, I always listen to as they have invaluable experience. Hi chris great videos. What I’ve found with the calliper slide pins , its corrosion between the bush and calliper because it hasn’t got a seal. Cleaning the pin only lasts a short time. Slide pin needs replaced and clean the housing. Keep up the good struggle👍

Hi Chris, Not sure if you are aware, but your air impact guns should be supplied with oiled air. You normally have an oiler on the output from your compressors air tank. The oiler puts a fine mist of oil in the air and keeps your impact gun working properly. Alternatively put a squirt of oil in the connector to your gun every time before use. It looks like your gun is dry 😱

i liked your comment on taking advice over the years it is invaluable the advice your given to prevent struggling but the so called modern apprentices these days dont take advice and prefer there own way you just have to walk away and let them struggle on thats why i dislike the main dealers prefer the old school hgv workshops

Wondering if the torque multiplier needs some grease. Or maybe there's even a version that you can use with electric (air) tools? Sadly both answers are a no, I'm afraid. Oh and there should also be a jack that can be used with electric (air) tools. Like there are (smaller) tippers that can be lifted with your power drill and such

Any reason you don't use copper slip chris. I used to look after 3 steam boilers and every year they had to be stripped for insurance inspection. Every nut and bolt got copper slip slapped on them on reassembly, the following year we would have no problem with tight or snapped bolts.
