How did it go using it over the course of a year? Did you ruin the angle by changing batteries?

@@louietruman2994 Great question! What I ended up doing was using my smartphone to take photos of the camera's preview screen once I set it up. Then after I changed the batteries, I referenced that older photo and tried to realign the camera to that same position. It's a little tricky because I think the camera preview screen times out fairly quickly so you have to press a button to get it to turn back on etc, but not too bad. Worth noting: I also purchased and used the extended battery pack, and then checked the camera for the flashing green indicator light every so often to make sure it was still recording.

It it really only a 2MP sensor though? So you get a 1080p timelapse that you can't crop?

For time lapse... a. does it allow storage of every jpg, or does it just spit out a finished video file? b. is there a control for manual exposure to minimize auto exposure flicker? c. is there a manual exposure so that one can set shutter speed slow and drag the shots? Great review.

im having issues importing the time lapses to final cut pro. when ever i insert the sd card in to the computer it says is not compatible

I have two of these for a construction project I'm working on and the video quality is completely average 1080 with a mediocre lens is not great. They need to make a 4k version of this. Also there is no way to access it through wifi and monitor it .You can't see any footage until you physically take it out and look. This thing can work ok but there is very little wow factor. the one idea that works and i'm not sure why go pro hasn't picked up on it is that they don't use a lot of power and can go for a long time on batteries. Good review though.

Great review! Just a few questions- All of my time-lapse is done in a lab, so is there an option for an AC adapter vs batteries? Second, my video will probably be around 30-days at 3sec per snap, so do I just remove the sim and copy it to a PC, then resume and connect the video as the sims fill up? Thank you SO much!

I've read a lot of online reviews about the TLC2020 having issues with corrupted AVI files during recording. Have you come across such issues, or other ones to note for that matter? Thanks!

I have not, but I haven't tried any recordings longer than three days.

Amazon says the quality of the TLC 200 PRO has 1080p recording quality did they update the TLC 200 PRO from 2014? So is that true?

@All Things In Time Lapse tbh at this point I just decided to buy another iPhone. I needed one so I don’t have to move the camera angle when I take breaks/use my phone. It honestly is better quality/easier to use than any timelapse camera I’ve been able to find.

So this video is 3 years old - BHPHOTO finally has them and calls the TLC2020 "new release" (on their main page).. the 200 appears to be a 300 though. maybe the mounting or the solar panel make these updated. Still maxes out at 1080p. Still "128gb" card max? What's up with that! I guess that's a long time in 1080p time lapse. I've always been interested in a Brinno timelapse camera... then i realize I have nothing to timelapse!!!
