NS choke is already my favorite sub, this variation looks very appealing. The fact that you don't have to squeeze is so amazing to keep energy!

The chest as your hand is awesome detail. I use my ribs in the same fashion executing the north south choke when opponent looks away from the choking arm. I use my rib to scoop and crush, scoop and crush, then I give them a little relief for them to turn their chin up and then sink down to the floor to finish choke. I do the same with my chin for the americana and/or wrist lock when in side control and opponent had a frame. I use my chin to bend their wrist. It's amazing how much their frame becomes compromised by just bending their wrist.

Arm triangle and punch chokes are my fav sub. Gotta add this rad stuff.

The position haha: would call this the Sentinel Choke or Soldier Choke. Gotta try it. Thx Brandon.

Cool, looks original to me, lots of takeaways- popping the head/ locking the spine using chest pressure instead of shoulder or head, using the plank to crush someone like a nut, and maybe even a transition or bailout from kesa game( the scarf hold)..wish my ribs would heal.

If it's available and it works, why not use it? Rolling is so dynamic, I just take whatever is available and go from there. If they effectively defend or you can't get it, transition to another attack.
