its not about winning necessarily, that would be nice. but before that happens, the green party will need to get 5% of the popular vote, to qualify for upgraded party status and federal election funding, THEN they will be sett up for a win. voting green is about playing the long game, instead of sucummbing to short term fear tactice of the Dem and Republican parties@@David-vf5rf

@@SolutionsWithin Yeah, I wish we had someone in Canada like that to vote for, too. But we probably don't have a Federal election until late 2025 anyway, so we'll be well aware of the results of the US election before that, and if a miracle happens and Cornel West or Jill Stein or Claudia De La Cruz either win or get significant support, that could really change the scene in Canada. Maybe Green party of Canada will get more inspiration and support or a newer 'third' party speaking truth to power may rise up, something like the Ubuntu Planet party that did try it out in Canadian elections but found they needed community support in the One Small Town method before any political party movement could be successful.

@@SolutionsWithin I get that. Makes sense in many ways. NDP won in Manitoba for Provincial leadership after too many years of regressive conservatives. It would be nice to see NDP get a chance at Federal leadership. However, would also be nice to see Greens get more seats and they have similar visions and platforms as NDP so could support policies like Guaranteed Livable Income, Housing for All, expanded Universal healthcare, education and renewable energy transformation as well as worker co-ops and unions.

Cornel West is running independent and apparently that means he can be a write in vote in up to 39 states. But don’t feel too bad if you’ve raised your kids conservative, you changed for the better and so can they. I think with the right community cooperative strategy it can really bring people together. Take a look at One Small Town with Michael Tellinger. What do you think of the potential of this initiative?

Cornel would be happy to influence the people and lose the bid for the Presidency if the voters gave the nod to Dr. Jill Stein for the Green Party or Claudia De La Cruz for the Party for Socialism and Liberation, who were both at that same rally and very much stand up against genocide and for freedom of Palestine.

Although I too will vote for Cornel West, unfortunately you are correct. He will never get elected. The United States was established by imperialists from Britain that arrived on these lands seeking dominance, not freedom. These people will never secede to live and peace. Peace does not beget profit. These people bred from a lineage of evil, only want power, money, and resources for themselves, only. After WWII when attacking sovereign nations was made illegal, by the Geneva Convention, they designed methods to covertly overthrow governments by inventing and creating terror groups, interfering with elections, inciting revolts against leadership who stood up for their own people and not for big businesses in America and the West who made horrible deals with those nations that benefited big businesses, only. Like Exxon-Mobile. If an overthrow was not successful, they use SANCTIONS to starve a nation. These nations fall into squalor and despair and the people of those nations despise the very leadership that attempted to distance themselves from America. Either the people rise up and elect a puppet pretending to be a savior placed there by America. Or they walk away from their nation and arrive to the very nation that put their own country in despair seeking a dream that is actually a nightmare. Evil is EVIL.
