With the recent release of Final Fantasy VII Remake, this seems like the perfect time to explore Hojo's story. Without question, this dastardly scientist has become one of the most memorable antagonists in the series' history... and its not hard to see why!

By far one of the most integral, and hated characters of FF7. He's probably the most horrid villain who ends up not taking the spot of main villain in a game ever. He's just responsible for so much pain and suffering in this game's world, and it is my hope that with this remake project, that Square do him justice and make him the final boss of one of its many parts being made. In the OG game you fought Hojo near the end of Disc 2, and after killing him you left Midgar and entered the final disc which consisted of the Northern Crater and all side content. If Square sets it up right you could easily have one of the parts of the remake project end with stopping Hojo as the games final boss in an epic climax a top the Sister Ray and then move into the final part for the remake and have it filled with a bunch of the side content as newly expanded mandatory lore and world building. That could be cool if square can set it up right though.
