Definitely. I always thought it was just the Professor Layton theme and not just for curious village. I remember though, I used to put my headphones into my ds, hold the screen open ever so slightly, hold it in my hand and just listen to the theme tune of the game as i walked home. stupid, but hey

I was in a presentation of my younger sister and a girl put on the Unwound Future song, her dance partner did not arrive and I prepared to dance with her, it was magical to dance that masterpiece with public watching. I felt fulfilled.

Yeah, more or less. Though, for me the most melancholic is the fifth one. Especially because when I hear it, I picture images of Hershel's past in the game and it's like the theme starts with Hershel in the present and then goes into his memories. Happy times but then Randall's death happens and it ends really sad. It's one of my favourites, a bit short but really good.

It's a tie for me, between Pandora's box and Lost Future. Lost Future will always win me story and emotion wise, but Pandora still had those things, along with the most killer puzzles and immersion of story e.g. Train ticket puzzle, travelling by train, introduction to Inspector Chelmley and the whole who's who ordeal [first Flora isn't who she is, then Baron comes back, and then it turns out the whole place WAS IMAGINARY and the character we all met didnt exist at all]. But yeah, its a tie for me, I will always feel stronger feeling for lost future as a story and adventure, but I cant deny my equally great experience with Pandora.

The Azran Legacy got me up until 3:15 am, and then I couldn't sleep because of the feels... But no regrets. I just HAD to finish it.

I just got a bunch of Professor Layton games for Christmas (Diabolical Box, Last Specter, Azran Legacies, and Miracle Mask), but I only play one game: Last Specter. The story just sucked me in!

The end was just mind blowing I think! And finally (SPOILER!) Layton once, for this very special moment, took his hat off and cried a little. All these games were so awesome!

If you're interested, the anime of Katrielle continues her story on what happened to Professor Layton. Look it up, since there are only a handful of episodes that focuses on this story, the rest are episodic cases that Katrielle solves.

I'm actually perfectly fine with the current ones! (even though Curious Villages' cutscenes kind of hurt to watch now, what with their quality...) I was just thinking about if they did do something similar to the Phoenix Wright Trilogy thing and what they might add or change.

They've re-released curious village on mobile and are working on diabolical box now.

It's a great composition, but I don't like it too much because it's so long. It starts great, but I feel like it drags a lot. But overall it's got, I love the violin.

Length has never been a problem, so long as it's interesting to me.

Saltyoven I know. There are some music that I like that are longer, the problem is that it's long but not too interesting, at least for me. I see it a bit repetitive.

I'll give that there IS one specific spot that went on for too long.

Well, as much as I love Layton, I think it's best to end something when it's still good, instead of making similar games continuously, like Mario... But, I still have the feeling that maybe they will make more Layton games in the future, just let them have a few years to come up with ideas.

Yeah, I agree, I'm just mad I didn't get the chance to feel the anticipation of waiting for the next game for so long. Thinking they were gonna release a new Layton game but in the end it was confirmed its finished. But overall, I'm glad I got to experience the series. :3
