@@vinnyl264 Fair point. But he won't treat him like he's royalty, after all everyone sees him as the chosen one which couldn't be any further from the truth, but he keeps his head knowing that he's still a regular student behind the title so he won't treat him like everyone of the other teachers. He does care enough to protect him, because he is the only living child of the woman he loved. I guess it stems from the fact that Snape spent so many years of torment at the hands of the Maurauders (mostly James) that just seeing Harry's face floods him with too many dark memories considering he does look like James after all. I would like to imagine how he would treat Harry if he were still alive after the Battle of Hogwarts. Perhaps he would've been different? But during his last moments, he does reveal he has a soft spot after all only at the time of death does a man truly reveal himself.

I love the sequence from 4:00. Her facial expressions and small headshakes are very her. Sidenote: The first film got Hermione's hair right. It was described as bushy, and in the rest of the films it was simply wavy and nice-looking.

@@gengarzilla1685 I agree with the buck teeth being too cumbersome but, what about the bushy hair? worst possible case, wear a wig. I see it more as a way to make look the character better looking for the movies so they can show a good looking girl when a new movies was advertised.

Little McGonagall bich didn't knew she is attacking one of the best headmasters of hogwarts and the hero of the series. Hero without whom, harry is nothing. Snape sacrificed a lot, stayed single after her love married the guy he hated. He didn't remarry. He even took care of their kid. No character in the movie has such a flashback as snape. Even Dumbledore doesn't stand before him. The potions master who created new spells and had to kill his companion albus unwillingly to gain trust of the dark lord . He was considered boring evil character until the last part it was revealed he was the most beautiful character. "' the one who didn't seem to care at all is the one who cared the most" - jk Rowling

@@naveenk2524 also your rant holds little water. He was still horrible to all but a select few of the students in his care. All of the good things he did does not negate the fact that he was horrible. He is the most morally grey character I’ve ever found. His actions helped defeat the darkest wizard of the age. But he was also a shitty teacher to non- Slytherins. The way he bullied Neville to the point that he was the thing Neville feared the most is bordering on the insane. He made fun of Hermione in his own classroom after Malfoy shot a teeth enlarging jinx at her. He held contempt for Harry for things that were not his fault. Oh and he held onto school Bullying that should have been moved on from. Oh and also he called the woman he loved a mud blood so yea. I freaking love her. She was at her best in books 5 and 7. She reminds me a bit of a public health teacher I had in college though that teacher wasn’t as strict. She was firm and a hard teacher and grader but not reasonable. She always stressed the importance of supporting your claims with data. It was her trademark. She also always gave you the materials and support you needed to do well on her assignments so her stricter grading was justified. Ironically, she was the only teacher I got a 100 on a paper with my sophomore year. One of my proudest college achievements.
