I honestly wished they hadn't just brought Xavier's dark version for only a few minutes and then focus on a main plot again, I think they should have made an entire episode about the dark Xavier coming out and attacking the X-Men and then have him destroyed in the end. He should have been the main villain in a single episode, but this always just felt like wasted potential to me, it just comes out of nowhere, just uses him for a few minutes before he's gone again and actually didn't serve much to the plot except for Xavier going to the island.

The series The Phoenix and Dark Phoenix Sagas specifically were directly adapted from the comics IIRC, this is exactly how Claremont, the author wrote Xavier's dark side into the DPS.

This was my favorite part of this series... It shows how truly powerful and potentially dangerous Xavier really is. But it also shows how powerful Xavier is in character since he never let this aspect of himself hurt others like this. X-Men is Stan Lee's greatest creation.

*Chris Claremont’s greatest creation. Stan Lee’s original X-Men comic wasn’t very good and it basically got cancelled. But Claremont turned the basic concept into pure gold

This series was made years before Disney brought marvel, when marvel comics had barely a penny to rub together, and yet they made this series with integrity, and honor to the original comics. We rarely see this kind of integrity these days, things like spiderman no way home, and ghostbusters afterlife are the few examples

@@sakuldanger4782 basically from the perspective of an outsider it would be like seeing - Logan forcing himself backward screaming - Standing on the tracks and trying to move but going nowhere - Swiping at the air when fighting Sabretooth All mental projections so real that he believes them to be true and all forced movements were his own doing. In essence it's like if you're a madman saying someone pushed you against a wall when it was you who tossed yourself backward.

Wolvirine could of tanked that train but this version of wolverine gets clawed by sabertooth once he needs medical attention and has bandages to cover it up and it takea like a quarter of a season from him to heal why do animated series have to nerf every bighiter like in the superman animated series he got woulded by bullets and falling wood.

This was Deadpool's original design back when he was first introduced. He also sucked when he was first introduced, he didn't become a comedy character till years later.
