The only way the misinfo angle could've worked is if Drake did a meet the grahams and released a song about it shortly after or just had proof for the fake mole stuff which shouldn't be hard if he actually set it up. Because as it is now, it 100% feels like he just read that theory somewhere on the internet and decided to just try to run with it

I think Kendrick’s main goal in this is to get people to question drake’s credibility and authenticity. He knows that this won’t make drake obsolete but because of his songs whenever drake attempts to rap about anything that insinuates that he’s ‘tough’/ gang affiliated it won’t be taken as seriously
@uraneusfoe
@uraneusfoe 2 ай бұрын
I think people with more than two fingers of forehead didn't take those type of lyrics seriously already, they come off as really goofy and childish, it's just that a lot of minors are impressed with that kind of stuff and mature people either listen to better stuff or listen to Drake superficially, like a quick fix, like fast food. Yeah, this is kinda amazing, lol. And I'm super glad I found this channel. I LOVE different types of analysis videos, like what Adam Neely does, or things like film analysis or even counter-reviews, like Th3Birdman's videos where he goes over how Cinema Sins has messed up. I do think the Professor here is kinda reaching with the thing about double negatives-that's very common vernacular in a context like this; "I ain't never did no schitt like that" Isn't something that'd confuse me. Although on the other hand, a huge thing folks bring up is the idea that Drake basically fakes aspects of multiple cultures he has little genuine connection to, so I guess you could argue it's not really fitting here since he's only speaking like that artificially. Plus, the exact phrasing used is arguably more opaque than the example I gave earlier…it probably would take me an extra sec to figure out what he's saying here. 😂😂 In any case, I find myself thinking of the response point to that, which is that we won't see "Drake" on such a list because they'd be using "Aubrey Graham" instead! And honestly it's kind of a weird way to even argue, on Drake's part. Saying it won't be on the list feels less like saying you didn't do it and more like saying you'll get away with it. 😭😭 Like bragging you won't ever see someone locked up no matter how many people they drop. 🤣😅

…Now I'm imagining someone comparing this to either Greek or Shakespearean tragedy. 😭😭😭 And hey, Greek would fit extra with all the susness being discussed. 😭😭

@@AhsokaJackson yeah I thought it was a bit of a stretch too, but I feel like it might also be possible that he was trying to say that it makes it more confusing and if youre trying to rid yourself of some serious allegations you should make it very clear what youre saying, more of in general than specifically drake.
@ZNIR777

FINALLY! Someone that agrees with me that Mr.Morale implies the abuse both verbally and physical. I get for most it doesn’t, but I grew up in the scenario. “We cry Together” for me is NOT just a verbal abuse battle. It’s symbolism for toxic relationship that includes physical abuse. Yet, again I say this because of what I lived. Arguments like that do NOT stay just as verbal arguments. Also Mr.Morale is top 5 for me. A classic and over 25,000min listened in the year it came out. I agree with all of what he's saying. Only part i think he's incorrect on was the double negative thing. It's common in AAVE to replace "a" with "no". So i don't think this really applies to the sex offender list part . It should be read as "Drake is not a name you will see on "A" sex offender list. I.E. popular song tiltles : 1. I ain't never scared. 2. I aint never been with a baddie 3. I aint no joke 4. I aint no holla back girl. 5. I aint no killer baby Other examples. You not gonna catch me at no casino waistin money. I'm not letting no dog lick my face. I think he should understand Its just common to talk like this with double negatives. Its Not limited to black/hood people. But growing up black you just have that understanding. Country people too.

@@Magillion why didnt you respond that "he aint not right about the double negative thing" then since double negatives are such an understood thing? surely we would have understood what you meant. btw Never Scared is the title of the 1st song, not the entire hook like youre writing. and Holler Back Girl by Gwen Stefani is a weird example to bring into this. I mean, maybe not cuz Drake really is a pop star like Gwen, but it just feels weird to the situation. Are you sure youre interpreting all those messages correctly though? you seem a bit misinformed. btw, Drakes reason for the slip-ups is he is simultaneously donning 2 masks. 1) the gangster mask where he acts like hes about that street life and 2) the not a pedo mask where he acts like hes not some creepass predator. dare you to go to the Halloween store, buy two clown masks, and wear em at the same time. make sure to send a picture detailing your success/failure story

I honestly think Drake calling the track "The Heart Part 6" is a huge mistake. The 'Heart' series is all about Kendrick immortalising himself in Hip Hop history through this intimate, evolving autobiography, detailing his problems, triumphs, aspirations etc. This current chapter is Kendrick trying to axe the biggest name in the game in Drake and he's managed to get so far inside Drakes head, in a desperate attempt to get one up on Kendrick, Drake himself has immortalised his biggest failure of this beef as just the next/current part in Kendrick's story... 🤯 A chapter which Drake uses to expose himself as an idiot, a nastier piece of work than he pretends to be and a hypocrite. It's the inverse of a usual 'The Heart' entry - as opposed to introspection and honesty, it's denial and obscufation. It's the proof that Drake is nothing like Kendrick at all - Not Like Us. Admitting he's a liar and a manipulator but in the same breath lies about things that are, at least to a degree, demonstrably true about him. (You can watch the proof on KZfaq of him kissing that 17 year old girl multiple times and verbalising how much he enjoyed the feel of her bre*sts...all AFTER learning she was 17). In response to Kendrick's relentless onslaught is this incoherent, contradictory, nasty, victim-blaming ramble in which he verbally concedes (whether he means it or not). All while sounding physically exhausted. It's a breakdown in song format. This chapter of Kendrick's story was the destruction of Drake - the biggest problem in hip hop (from Kendricks perspective). Drake co-authored his own demise...

The thing that really seals it for me is that there is no reasonable explanation for an artist as social media savvy and who uses social media as a tool like Drake to not have extensive evidence of them setting this elaborate scheme up. Not a single screenshot, not a single video, not an Instagram live story. People who are arguing that Kendrick doesn't have proof either are sort of missing two major points. Other than the 11 year old daughter thing, almost all of what Kendrick discusses have been maters of public record for years. Drake dated Sza when she was 17 (note, this still satisfies the "no sex offender list" because age of consent laws in Canada are different and in like 33 states 17 is legal- which means he's making a statement that is true, but he's not using the same definition as most people when discussing it). Drake had a wildly inappropriate relationship with a 14 year old Millie Bobby Brown that was legitimately deleterious to her outlook on human relationships; in that she thought Henry Cavil did not like her personally when he, a man in his 30s, refused to exchange phone numbers to text about "stuff" because it would be inappropriate and they were just co-workers. Kendrick is simply stating that we know what he's into in public, which is already reprehensible, now consider what he might be up to in private. Second, Drake is the one making an extraordinary claim- that he baited Kendrick with a masterfully manipulative ruse. Extraordinary claims require evidence, and while absence of evidence is not evidence of absence it is suggestive of it.

I gave you an earnest chance but the reason you lost my attention is that at 2:10 you mentioned effectively “Drake will still have a number 1 hit album next year”. That is not being challenged. Thats not even important in the grand scheme of things. Kendrick is not challenging Drake’s capability as a successful pop artist, the challenge is that Drake IS a pop artist. He is not everything he is claiming to be. So when Drake lines up 8 more successful albums the point is essentially “who cares?”

I'm someone who never really listened to rap music before this whole beef. I knew who Kendrick was (Bcz I'd heard HUMBLE) and I knew Drake (Because of Kiki and some other feats he did) and the biggest thing that I gained from this feud was this: Strategy. Idc which team people are on. Idc if you're a Drake fan or a Kendrick fan. Idc if you believe either allegation. Idc if anything about what they've said is true. BUT: You have to applaud Kendrick for his strategy. Giving Drake a choice between choosing which route the beef would go in Euphoria was phenomenal because it made Drake look stupid when he came for his family and then got absolutely bodied. And then, uploading Meet the Grahms 20 FUCKING minutes after Drake drops Family Matters?? That's iconic shit. The smartest move Kendrick did was by releasing Not Like Us because, he made a serious song after Drake made a "club banger" and completely overshadowed him. And then he overshadowed him again by releasing an ACTUAL club banger when Drake decided to release a "serious" song. The way in which he played this beef in my head was fucking iconic and it doesn't matter who you support, you have to admit that Kung Fu Kenny really destroyed his ass
