Is there any way to do this without an original key? My key broke and i only had the one and my immobiliser stopped working so i replaced it with a new ignition barrel which came with 2 keys with it.

This won’t work on a 2006 Honda Pilot? Seems like the process is very similar, but I see that this kit doesn’t work on the 2006 Pilot. Why is that? If I had my own replacement key, would the programmer in this video be able to program the transponder chip on my new replacement key to my Honda Pilot?

Hi there, our universal EZ installer has the capability to program remote keys and transponder keys for a 2006 Honda Pilot. However, currently, compatible keys are not available on our website. Nevertheless, you have the option to rent the UNEZ and program the key they purchase from another store, provided it is the correct key for their vehicle. Will this work with a key/fob that I bought from amazon? I am ready to purchase your easy kit to program the keys I purchased. I only did this because I couldn't seem to find the 4 button fob for the 2017 honda civic on your site.

As long as your vehicle came from the factory with a remote buttons (lock/unlock doors), you can program a new key with buttons.

The car had 3 keys pair to it he did two new keys which add up to 5 which is the max amount of keys allowed per car

This video doesn't show how to 'make' spare keys --- it indeed shows how to program spare keys that have already been 'cut'. Where do I get them cut first? ... do you guys cut them too?
