Well explained, the skills mentionned are indeed required to level up as a dev. I would add; - Unit testing - Linux, terminal and scripting - Understanding CI/CD Pipelines - Knowing how to use a design tool such as Figma - Embrace AI and learn how to leverage it such as GitHub Copilot etc

absolutely correct I am a frontend developer now but was a full stack developer I am happy that my experience with full stack development made me learn git, docker, databases and apis and cloud computing of course I am not an expert but If I did not have a basic understanding of these I am sure I would have had a rough first week at my job. Also I would add that developers need to understand scrum and Jira and how to read your product manager. Developers need to learn when to have urgency with tickets and how to keep the agile process moving forward, I always been good at this.

Hey Valentyna, good day! I came across your video right now and it catches my attention, I'm currently learning programming language by myself (self taught) at Free code camp and Codecademy website, Currently on the HTML course, i want to be a front-end web developer. Last year July, I started learning to code by watch KZfaq tutorials but along the journey I encountered problems on having errors on my code, so i find it very difficult to debug the code. But yet still this year again, i started coding because I really love coding. Please please, can you be my mentor and allow me to come to your assistance if i run into any issues in my coding journey, please, because self taught is not easy if you don't have anyone who have experience to guide you along the journey. Please also let me know how i can reach out to you if you allow to mentor me. I'm Ob Sanyang from Italy.
