The 1986 Dunk Competition featured a final round of Dominique Wilkins and Spud Webb. Dominique who was the favorite entering the competition had 2 impressive dunks, but he could not compete with Spud Webb and the Dallas crowd which was in Spuds corner from the beginning, and Spud Webb became the 1986 Slam Dunk Championship.
