The tool that we have made this time is very useful as using it we can bend metal sheets and create corners without using heavy equipment like the hydraulic sheet metal bender. Needless to say that we cannot use it to bend thick sheets but we can easily move it and take it to our outdoor activities.

Very inventive use of the lathe for some of those steps. Loved that radius turner. Beautiful looking product, shame about its function not producing crisp bends.

I really do appreciate the skill that went into making this... awesome talents there, but was disappointed in the quality of the bend in the sheet metal. It seems to my mind that there should be a corresponding male & female Vee rollers with an adjustable clearance between those. Will I make one? Probably not. 😀

Comparing this to modern commercially available roller benders, it's plain to see that this design isn't quite there. However, it was definitely a brave try. Hopefully, you'll get it spot on in version 2 or 3. I greatly appreciate you being brave enough to try, then sharing your successes and failures with us!
