And i 1st played sonic when i was 2 years old.

Yo! I'm the lead video engineer for this project. :) My personal favorites from this album are: 5. Door Into Summer - 3R2 4. Splash Hill Zone - Dan Bosley 3. Mobile Mine-Cart - SMK 2. The Burning Wing - EAR 1. Flight of the Robotnik - Blake Robinson [I just LOVE big band/concert band music!] It was hard to choose. There are so many awesome tracks in this compilation, if I do say so myself. ^_^

I’m a big fan of yours, haha! Thanks so much for sharing your top 5. I agree with you when you say it’s difficult to pick a top 5 because every song on this album is top tier. It would so cool, if another album was made. I would even go as far as to fund it. This is how much Project 20 means to me.

This album deserves as much love and attention as possible. I’m sorry to hear that the director of the Sonic Remix Shorts was banned. I actually have this album, as well. It’s one of my favorites, too. This would explain why there was never a volume two. I always wondered why there was a volume one, but no further volumes. Thank you for answering this long time question for me. I really appreciate this. Are there any plans for another Project 20 kind of album? I’d really love to see another album.

​@@TheWingsofValmar Ah! Do I have a few interesting stories for you. First, there were indeed plans for a 2nd volume of Sonic Remix Shorts and, at that time, the director of that project was on good terms and well-liked in the community. If my memory serves me right; however, there just was not remotely enough interest in a follow-up album. Sonic Paradox really has never been known for music and some decisions from SP leadership a long time ago did not help: mainly, not posting our completed albums on this, the primary KZfaq channel of Sonic Paradox. A secondary channel, SonicParadoxMusic, was created as an offshoot for music projects, but it never really gained much steam. As a result, SP's music projects really tended to fly under the radar for several years. Thankfully, that has changed. ^_^ Also, the director of Sonic Remix Shorts was only banned from SP and Sonic Legacy at some point within the last two years. I do not recall exactly when that happened and he was quite adamant at putting together a followup album for a good while after the 1st one did fairly well, all considered. Second, there were plans for a Project 25 collab, which would have included artwork and another album! Sadly, again, there was far too little interest in the project, since SP is really not known for music. Honestly, anything from Sonic Paradox would most likely have vastly-paled to what the people at OCRemix put together. I remember their Sonic 25th Anniversary album was quite a hit. A Project 30 was also considered, but that didn't get any further than brainstorming sessions. Finally, as for new albums, there are no plans at this time for any further music collaborations within Sonic Paradox. Personally, I do have an 8-Bit Sonic 1: Piano Redux album I would like to finish. I got jammed on that project years ago and I want to get it completed at some point. I'm going to bet you've listened to some of the completed tracks I posted here and there. :) The main issue keeping me from completing this project is getting some very, very old software to work in some manner on Windows 10. The most recent OS my music programs work on is Windows XP and nothing newer. Heck: one program I used for music will actually run on Windows 3.1! XD I don't have a functional computer that is old enough to run Windows XP well, so that is not an option at this point, either. X_X Since we're here, do you have any further questions about SP and our projects? ^_^

Funnily enough, I wanted to try and organize something for the 25th and 30th anniversaries, but both times just ended up falling flat. Had a logo designed for the 25th anniversary and all.

@@CelestOrion I truly appreciate your efforts. I would have loved to see another album. What happened that caused both album attempts to fall flat? If it’s lack of revenue to fund the album, I may be able to help in this department.

@@TheWingsofValmar First off, nice username, need more Grandia fans. Second, it wasn't a funding issue as it's all community passion, it just never picked up.

@@CelestOrion Thanks a lot. Grandia 2 is my favorite game of all time and Millenia is my favorite character from this game. I really love her character development. Hmm, so it wasn’t about not having the money. There just wasn’t enough passion for people to make the album happen. I really hope this changes in the future. I would love to see another album come to life.

Hmmm. Those would be some useful details. Seems that was not considered when this album was released back on 2011, nor when I compiled this video version for KZfaq back in 2014. I'll add that info to the pinned comment for this video now, possibly the Video Description later, with staff approval.

Ah! That would be the stage BGM from Giant Wing, from Sonic the Fighters.

I was not a part of this project when it was made in 2011 [Though I compiled this video version several years ago], but from what I can gather, there was no standard for what bitrate musicians needed to submit their audio in. MP3 was the standard format for this collaboration. However, audio quality was all over the place for this one, with a couple of tracks submitted as very-low bitrate MP3s at 36 or even 56 kbps, several at 128 kbps and quite a few at 320 kbps. Sadly, finding higher-quality copies of these tracks has proved impossible; thus, a FLAC or other lossless version would be pointless. :(
