Cool project! And really pretty doll. I love dolls with unusual faces or coloring. Her face is so pretty with those freckles and auburn hair! The flower crown makes me want to make one for myself, and one for my dolls.

you can get natural body pigment derived from different types of clay (I think), I found this at a small bookstore, but it can doubtlessly be found on amazon.

I'm too much of a cheapskate to buy body paint, so I basically just use school glue directly to skin then glitter bomb it and let dry, then remove excess. XD

I was thinking about adding food color to the glue to color it. It may stain your skin a little, but it would be like real henna, meaning it would wear off as your body sheds its skin. Do it at the kickoff of summer break, and watch it slowly fade.

Nice video, my daughter love that tv show, she will love that doll. For a diy and more natural face and body paint you can use a mixture of cream, corn starch and food coloring if color needed.

Imagine: Your an actress on the show. In mid season production, they mention a doll also in production of yourself. A week later your in a photo shoot for the pose on the box. Not long after that your doll is being sold in stores... how cool would that be?

I easy way to make a henna, is to mix glue and food coloring and apply it on the skin. Once dry you peal it and its there. it works great especially if you do a dark color.👍🙃

Since it is such a messy project maybe you would be allowed to do it in the grass this spring...or now if it's warm enough. Cornstarch dissolves, and the glitter would fall through the grass to the ground. Who knows, maybe there is an ant who would love to add some glitz to her tunnel? =-D

You can also order real henna which can lasts for up to a week and you just need to put it on and let it dry and wash it off.

you can look up "all nautral face paint" and it should come up! I bought some and thought it was amazing,but you could always use food dye insted.

I love the idea of relating science to the dolls, but I wish they'd go a bit more in depth. The paperclips analogy is nice, but it would be great if they could mention that polymers are actually made up of carbon and hydrogen to deepen kid's understanding and motivate them to find out more about these elements.
