Some people say putting high solids clear coat over the por15 makes it impenetrable

Great installation of reinforcements. Have you done the Boss 302 plate installation on the other side of the shock tower underneath the lower control arms?

I sure did. I feel like those will make the most difference and keep the dirt and debris from piling up in that cavity.

What gauge metal are you using for the shock tower am cutting mine back and also like to add reinforcement as you did.

That is 1/8" plate
