After some thought, it may just be them leaving the game before the master unlocked thing shows up, resulting in the difficulty not unlocking? Idrk

⁠its not really like this. the unlock master you need to have no more than 7 Good, Bad, Miss, then even without FC you can unlock this difficulty

Off topic but I remember I’m playing co op with my friend, I picked Aishite because that’s the song I think I slayed at expert and she just picks tell your world ( npc pick/jj) and then we just played tell your world because pjsk prefers that and I just got so confused and rage quit bc never played it in expert lol still kinda mad honestly 😭😭💀💀

as a person whos been playing for alot ill try giving some easy tips bc it seems like u need it ur speed is important : atleast 9.0 or 10.0 (it may look hard but once u try it its really easy or some sort) on the settings put voices down so u dont get distracted the songs are based on levels || normal 9-14 || hard anything below 20 since above that level are spam songs Recommend normal if ur having problems with flicking/tapping notes recommend Hard if u know tapping and flicking the notes once u fc hard/normal try other difficulties to see which one fits u best i think thats it, if im missing smth let others know or me idk

First, adjust the settings (especially if you find background brightness, tapping noises or voices distracting) to your liking, like the person above me mentioned. Try various difficulties and see on what level you are. Of course, in my case, practicing on higher levels than mine also helped me adjust myself, which gave me a "headstart", when I actually got to for example, expert. Also, it may be a bit silly, but at first, when I was learning how to play expert, I played It's maps on auto, clicking like I would normaly play, which also helped me learn It's patterns. After that, I would try doing it manually. (Although that method is not for everyone and is pretty energy expensive for a newbie)

try to get to hard mode asap, then focus on speed turn on early/fast/flick in settings, it helps you pinpoint errors and find your optimal note speed gacha pulls can help (life recovery was my biggest crutch when i started playing) don't play the same song too much, i use a max of like 10 attempts before i choose a different song but it entirely depends on your preference learn how to use an index play style! one of my biggest regrets when i got to expert + master was not using index fingers early on of course, i still use thumbs more than index fingers, and i'm not saying you have to use index all the time, but it helps to know how to use both playstyles what's your player id? i'd love to play co-op together sometime

I'm not entirely new to rhythm games but my eye sight isn't that great so it might be a problem to constantly focus on speedy notes, but I'm sure I'll improve. Though I get overwhelmed when doing hard. Some songs in hard/expert are easier while others are too hard for their difficulty. I've been playing it for a few hours and got fed up... I guess you're right, playing the same song over and over can get you bored and not wanting to listen to it again.. I'll take a few days break from it.

I CAN NEVER GO WITH A 2* BECAUSE I MASTERY RANK 5 THEM THE SECOND I GET THEM FOR THE CHARACTER RANKS…they give free 3* now to beginners so just set it to a lower level 3* and you’ll still pass as new lol
