I just want to say, i still play almost exclusively a CDDA run thats nearly 3 in game years deep now purely because of finding your good ol Gerald run. So any time you drop some zomboid its hype for me

I'm guessing you maybe didnt have time to do it, but I think if you try this again it might be a good idea to run into a number of buildings and not loot, just destroy the bottom staircase and drop an alarm clock. That way when you secure your main base, the neighbor buildings won't give access to the hoard and the alarm clock(s) should clear any freerange zombies from the building by pulling them to the ground floor

If you don't have a sledgehammer, you could always cut off the the upper floors with just a hammer and saw by disassembling a couple of floor tiles next to the 2nd floor landing. (You do have to pick up the floorboards/carpet into your inventory first to expose the disassemble-able floor tiles.

i think a solution to survive a little longer would have been to destroy the lower stairs of nearby buildings during the first day, so that when you start building bridges across roofs they're not flooded by zombies.

I get what you mean about the flood being crazy but exciting. About 6 months ago i moved into a new town and the locals said not much happens hear, it flooded once 20 years ago, it has now flooded 9 times in 5 years and every time we all get excited to see the town cut in half by the water

There is a TV in the burnt out house by your starter house, there are also weapon crates on the top floor but it is burnt out & you will have to use the "walk to" command to reach them without falling down

there's an 'old' TV in the bigger campsite with the wooden walls and some cots. Can get all your days worth of TV out of it but no VHS tapes The roof above the 'Slurp Burp' is considered indoors. Farms are a lot tougher to work there because of that.

For the deep fried ice cream i like to think it's based off the science of when you go to extreme temp differences for a short time So the outside gets the crispy greatness and the inside is still ice cream.

Pickles keeo depending on how they're pickled. There's refrigerator pickles and shelve stable pickles. Honestly you could technically keep them on shelves regardless, you just run the risk of bacteria growth

i mean according to the wiki unless its wrong it could be lol regularity just helps muscle pain fatigue severity does nothing for gains its a set amount per chance during each exercise but theoretically if your in less pain you can workout more so i mean yes and no i guess proteins increase strength gain only weights only do better strength gain nothing else not even a fitness bonus also mainly just arm pain but one is arm and chest burpees does medium gains on both strength and fitness all body but core pain push up is high strength but upper body pain sit ups is just core pain put some low fitness squats is leg pain but high fitness ive seen it no where on the wiki but heard the better the fitness the better you do in exercise thus more reps in the time frame thus more gains and ive seen a comparison of someone with low fitness doing an exercise slower then someone with higher fitness on a server but idk if that just visual or it actually affects it

I love Project Zomboid, but I can't get the list of active mods off the screen. It covers the right side, depending on how many mods I have active. I can't see the clock or status icons. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it, without just deactivating and not using mods?

You should try challenge where you start with good stats but lose them over time, or challenge where your stats dont move at all. No idea if its possible in PZ but I bet someone could make mod for that.

Multiplayer challenges really would be the best ever. I'd love to see "realistic" simulation of 3-5 construction or metalworking guys waking up after a night of blackout drinking to find the zombie apocalypse at their door, each player with the tough alcoholic trait. They'd all have to watch out for each other during the withdrawal phases (if the characters _want_ to quit, some might not lol, no offense anyone but it's pretty accurate) and the whole mess that comes with it too. Be great to see interactive NPCs too where _what_ you look like on 1st contact, and _how_ you act in front of them decides how they treat you; whether kind, suspicious, dangerous, etc. People, even myself sometimes (consciously try not to knowing it's not right or fair at all) make first judgments (am only being honest, like it or not, right or wrong) by the clothes we wear and the shoes on our feet, so why not in PZ too. It's cruel but in a world gone mad with walking human corpses wanting to eat you, it might be a shoot/spy on first and ask questions later scenario each and every time. That's asking a lot though... Got carried away daydreaming but it'd be neat if they just had NPCs at all.
