Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

I dont think ive seen a person this good at forts. I would like to point out, he was targeted, under constant fire, had an afk teamate, a dead team, it was a 1v3, he was using a hard to use weapon that required a two part combo, and he took them ALL down on his own. WHILE he stayed calm. WHILE GIVING KZfaq COMMENTARY That was amazing. That was bloody amazing.

That last one went up because the 20mil at the very top was sheared off, detonated on the ground, and hit a row of batteries. Always practice safe battery positioning. Chain explosions are no joke.

It's generally true that people who use accelerated resources in games like this tend to suck at the game. Especially quick games like Forts. If you're good at the game there is basically no incentive to play with accelerated resources unless you're playing with cheese ball tactics for fun.

Since the darkness gun is so cheap to build, having 2 or even 3 aimed at roughly the same spot would mean higher chances of a laser hitting one of them near the enemy base.

How does the combo work. Like does the laser fuel the darkness for more damage or is it something else

@@caringthunder2153 dmg striking the darkness projectile, in turn, increases the damage pulse of the darkness aoe. More you hit it, the more you get out of it. Hence the laser combo since the beam causes multiple hits on the darkness projectile in a very short window of time. Just have to be hyper accurate with the laser.

not really, though it is hard to see, in the replays you can see the AOE damage that destabalizes the base far more than the lazer would.

yes you can see that dmg, but still the first collapsed anyways due to the laser hit a battery and there wasnt much stop it ayanyways. 2nd was a perfect combo hit as well as the 3rd one, but the last was a miss. that droped cannon ended him. so yea... on closer inspection id say 2 of 4.

@@HandsomeGamerGuy While the void is in the air, if it's hit by something, it'll cause an extra aoe attack. Lasers hit it several times per second, causing LOTS of aoe attacks if you can combo them together.

22:20 The cannon that was falling was ordered to fire and when it started to fall, the cannon aimed at the core and managed to fire at the core to explode it. The area damage didn't destroy the core but the cannon did. LMAO.

I would love to see this done some more. I also am curious about how it would function with the minigun instead? If it works with non lasers it seems like the inherent spread of the mini would help garuntee some damage. Plus they are cheaper so you could easily have 2 miniguns shooting.

The problem is though, the laser is fired just before the void hits, letting it travel into the base and deal damage, instead of just being on some of the front parts, making it otherwise easily prevented

Oh I agree with a perfectly targeted laser it's really strong. Laser getting that punch through makes a big difference. It just feels too, all in? Like I am wondering if he can hedge his bets with miniguns. Also, Mini gun + Scattershot commander active is basically a laser right?

so i dont play forts, but ive watched alot of your vids man! but im gonna give my two cents on the darkness cannon: to me it looks like when the darkness hits it like "deactivates" the blocks it collides with which is why the lazer pierces the whole way through. just what it looks like to me! keep up the good work
