Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

This was one of the best games I’ve seen on here. So many fun rushes, portal strats 3 times in a row, and that last game with the chonky defense on both sides.

I feel like the first match was a bit of a letdown from the side of cypress considering the amount of float. There could've been a plasma laser a lot earleir, or just a lot more metal defence, yet instead not much happened for a long time despite not being under assault

Apparently the only reason Robber died in that last match was because he left his base burning too long, he was too busy trying to fire whatever he could for a last gasp.

on that last map, the bottom of the core is so exposed. couldn't the bottom players just immediately build a sniper and pop the core with that wide open clear shot? a couple other maps are like that too tbh. nobody ever does it though. always focusing on rushes and such. while i'm just sitting there thinking... why not just hit the core with quick basic weapons, like, right off the bat?

it's trivial to defend (takes like a second) and a surprisingly difficult shot given the range and accounting for bullet gravity. The time and wasted resources used to aim and fire is simply not worthwhile when that time would be better spent trying to get more powerful weapons/better defences.

I believe that is their floated resources (ie wasted metal and energy)

Correct, it's cumulative wasted resources from hitting the storage cap. First number is metal second is energy.

Didn't seem like Pechivo that last round didn't do too much except be a punching bag sadly .. I would have at least put a energy shield up in that bottom area knowing that Cyprest was targeting it with lasers

26:04 Slow down the video and you can see Pechivo nearly bite the dust from those cannon shots sneaking their way through the opening doors. That's insane. Honestly crazy that the 2nd shot making it about as far as the first didn't do any damage at all to the core considering how far in it was and how generally cannons splash through things.

I gotta get in on the multiplayer side of things at some point, like I know my apm is ass and I'm bad at memorising builds but this game allows for some weird chaotic stuff to happen so there's always a chance I sneak some wins 😅

Hey Incursus, I know you like to well pronounce names in their native tongue so if you want search the pronounciation in french of "cyprès" which is a kind of tree and "pile rouillée" which is a rusted battery :)

Would have loved to see Cannon adjust and try a different strat. The changes they made each game weren't nearly as effective as the evolving defenses of their opponents.

I kinda don't like selling the cannons for howitzer in the last match. Because if you shoot 3 cannons at the same time and they merge together they will do very nasty dmg. I know it doesn't happen every time but they still will do some dmg and that is more than 0 from howi because of enemy AAs.

it's a shame that cannon just couldn't work too well together on that last game, and couldn't pivot to something that bypasses AA. I'm not sure how high it could've been aimed, but it seemed a bit funny to be repeatedly smoking the front of the lower base, rather than nailing that top base's AA.

Shame he doesn’t know how to use Energy shields to stop laser and plasma beams… all he needed in the last fight was an energy shield at the bottom of his base to stop his mines being targeted.

Team cannon in the first 2 matches was like angry chihuahuas biting at your ankles... the first time they won, the 2nd they got kicked... now to see what the third match brings.

I was initially rooting for Cannon, the mortar strat was sloppy but barely made it through which is still a win. But then they went for the same strat again... Knowing full well Up Grade would defend it much better the second round. And i was like, well that's just dumb. If you don't have your mortar strat down to where you can make it work SOLID in the first round, you don't go for it a second time. Doesn't matter that you picked the commander based on your planned strat. I was still thinking that maybe Cannon can make up for the failure in round three. ... And they went mortar strat. GET OUT OF HERE, YOU DO NOT BELONG IN A PRO LEAGUE TOURNAMENT!

These guys are good at Forts in terms of resource management, building, and managing weapons. But man, the decisions they make of who to attack, and when to attack are so strange to me. In the second game, why was he only attacking the guy who was only defending and allowing the other one who's been attacking to go undamaged? In the third game, Red's top core was exposed from the bottom for the entire first half of the game, would take no more than two sniper shots to kill, and yet nothing. I just don't get it.
