+kansasthunderman1 actually they're not look at that the stuff that shoots back after it goes in he talks about safety lets see no gloves no safety goggles or mask

+David Schieler Safety glasses are a good idea! I do not wear gloves or loose clothing - want to avoid the risk of clothing getting caught on branches & getting pulled into the chipper drum -

Also the gloves are important in tree work but if you get snagged by your glove you could get sucked right in.

Ahh, yes, the old air raid chippers. I know they'll box your ears good. The guys using them would walk by the side and throw the wood and just keep on walking. They worked. Good job.

great video, you operated that safely which takes restraint, its easy to get flustered and do something dumb when you are getting tired. Got to keep your working area clean, you don't want to be tripping over in front of that thing. The only saving grace is you would only be terrified for about 1 second and then it would all be over. 911 dialer might never forget the terror

4 times speed looks like Mr's Howell cleaning house/hut on radio active sugar beets grown by Gilligan with experimental radio active seeds that washed up at the lagoon during a hurricane.

I have about 3 full dump truck loads of tree branches from clearing my land. I have received some estimate of $2000 to chip them plus these contractors are tree men and act like this is bellow their line of work, The last one said " I rather not bother with the job" so that got me thinking that may be I should buy a chipper and use my own loader to feed them into it. It looks like I can buy an old Whisper Chipper for $2000. I wonder if the job is too big for an old Whisper Chipper?

My dad chipper shakes really bad when it runs. He thinks the bearings are going out. What do you think

Your problem could be very serious - I would seek professional advice at a service provider to properly identify the problem. If the drum wobbles for any reason - it can cause the blades to explode when it collides with the internal case / blade cutter bar, which can cause serious injury or worse.
