Fellow Prolotherapy doctor and dear friend, Mark Wheaton, MD, visited our office recently. He graciously offered to share his story and personal experience with Prolotherapy, and to pray with Dr. Hauser for those suffering from chronic pain and feeling lost or hopeless. We're grateful for people like Dr. Wheaton in our lives!

Great video Doctor Hauser You have been my favorite Doc I use to see you in Illinois .the other male doc that stayed there but gone when closed was only second to you as for smooth pain free treatments left name out on purpose . Mark seems as he’d be another fantastic Doc to see.god bless yall . Glad to see Danielle is doing good also.

Perhaps you’ve heard of DrMilne Ongley. Recently doing my quarterly home office cleanup from prior documents and materials. When I was in practice, I ran into a manual from the muscular therapy Institute. Inside the manual was a series of articles, perhaps not related to the original material in in the manual, but clearly on back pain. The article was titled back shot Dr Milne Ongleys Shot. he called it proliferant therapy. Dr. Ongley was director of the Institute of Orthopaedic Medicine in Newport CA. The treatment was used to strengthen damage of ligaments and tendons that were unstable. He used his formulation starting in 1956. The article never reveal the ingredients in his formula. It just noted that it strengthened and tightened ligaments and stabilized joints. Have you heard of this doctor?

We do not provide referrals however we can suggest that you start with a google search and see if there is a provider in your area that specializes in your area of concern. We understand that travel is not feasible for all but we do have patients who travel from all over the globe and if you find that you are able to come to our office we would love to have you.

Can you do a video jugular compression vs CCI? So that people like myself can differentiate between the two? I have many debilitating symptoms and I’m struggling to determine if it’s jugular or CCI. I’ve had an angiogram for jugular and was told in certain head positions I’m severely compressed but not really a candidate for surgery. I have never ruled out CCI and feel it’s necessary

These procedures are not covered by insurance and there is no prolotherapy available within a five hour drive of me. I have instability in numerous places on my body (neck, knees, hips, ankles) and calculated costs including travel and related expenses (hotel & food), and it would be WAY out of our budget for me. My husband is not a Christian, so faith is not a factor for him, but the bottom line of our expenses is. He says surgery is cheaper and since I am not working, recovery time is not an issue. Therefore, my body parts are left to the surgeon's knife. I already had one knee replacement and really don't want to have surgery for several reasons. So, I deal with daily chronic pain. Any advice?

Hi Suzie - we are so sorry to hear that you have been struggling with instability. Unfortunately, the more complex an issue becomes, the more expensive it is to test and treat. we are first and foremost trying to help you find answers to your health questions and determine an effective treatment that targets the structures that are causing the problem. The initial recommended test results can also be the determining factor in whether someone needs a $100k spinal surgery or $15k in Prolotherapy and curve correction. There is a massive difference in the cost of surgery and Prolotherapy, but we understand that there can be a sticker shock for any aspect of medical care for these conditions. We are praying that you and your husband and find the right care for you. We pray that you can have complete healing - don’t give up hope and in the mean time try to make some lifestyle changes, like light movement, strengthening your vagus nerve, looking up, limiting screen time, eating a Whole Foods diet, etc.

Doctor am a 19 year old 3 years ago in school doing exam i felt pain in my neck i did MRI they said am kyphosis and had a pinched nerve since the i started experiencing memory loss i started to have cognitive issues i have see many doctors in my country none of them agreed or understood how can bad neck posture and ponched nerve affect my momory .please is it possible my problems is genuinely caused by my neck

Certainly, I am very possitive this process will help me, but I can't afford it now, I have not been working given my issues, so, not an enjoyable moment for me :(.

Can you see a chiropractor while getting prolotherapy?

Great question - it really depends on the case, some of our patients are getting adjustments in our office while getting treated however we would not want a patient going to a chiropractor who is counteracting the prolo treatments.
