This is a mix based on the music script for the fourth encounter of the Salvation's Edge raid. The track used is a variant of Give Yourself To Darkness. Wasn't going to do this one initially, since it's just light action-action-high action, but I caved after a bit.

I absolutely love how the music in random solo player ghost sequences is almost like triumphant - like the music is saying “that’s it keep going you are almost there” literally chills. 😍

It’s like the traveler is keeping one of you alive to triumph over the witness. Since it says “the witness noticed your efforts” then you die. It would be cool after if it said something right after like “the traveler choses _____ “

Perfect encounter. What it feels like to me is we are defying what the witness wants. It gives us a set shape but to escape and succeed we defy the shape it gives us by making a new one. During the 5 man death phase the traveler is keeping 1 of us alive to continue forward.

There’s something different to hearing this exactly as it plays during the raid, rather than simply the action snippets off the OST. Something…visceral. PTSD inducing.

This encounter is just the odd one out. It’s different from the rest in mechanics and design. It’s odd this is the only encounter the witness straight up can just finalise us in.

Would be kinda nice if the witness did speak to us in this room. It does “notice your efforts” after all. Like every rotation you’d get dialogue geting more angry every rotation till the 3rd where its dearly very annoyed

The music at the end when the 5 guardians fracture had to be the most stressful moment in my entire life playing destiny, on a flawless run that music makes it so much more suspenseful than anything else 😂and the shouts of joy our fireteam had when we cleared this encounter on our first ever flawless attempt. Definitely my favorite raid encounter of all time.

Collect your triangles first [unless you have both], then once square and circle guys have their shapes, pass both your triangles to them, then after they do the same, pick up the circle and square they gave you, then run to the glass wall! [Assuming outside team got their 3D shapes finished...]

This encounter went from a pain to learn, to constant theory crafting on how best to approach the encounter, to a pain to teach, and finally just caving and doing it the way everyone else is doing it cause you just can’t be bothered anymore.

id say yes, but vault is pretty easy. this just has so many moving parts lol. everyone has to do something, unless youre really lucky and get to be outside while someone else knows what to do for all 3 phases

hate playing with people that have to say their inside steps out loud for the whole fireteam to hear like bro! if you are circle just leave it alone and pass the other shape around so we can be ready for phase 2 lol and somehow they fk that up

Why is that an issue. Outside should be the ones to not talk, and if inside needs to communicate to get things done, let em. Don’t be the toxic one and tell the ones who need to communicate to not do their job

Sounds like a skill issue bro. Inside players should be the only ones talking. Dissection can be done by 1 person in under a minute without any comms other than statue order
