Uganda and Tanzania have signed a 15years mutual agreement worth 71.7 billion shillings for the integration of the Tanzanian ICT Broadband Backbone (NICTBB) with the Uganda National ICT Backbone Infrastructure NITA
The event that was witnessed by Dr, Chris Baryamunsi the minister of ICT and the Tanzania minister of Information and Technology Nape Nnaye, took place earlier today in Dar es Salaam, a move both ministers say will boost the telecommunication sector and increase employment for the youth while connecting African countries.
