Algebra II on Khan Academy: Your studies in algebra 1 have built a solid foundation from which you can explore linear equations, inequalities, and functions. In algebra 2 we build upon that foundation and not only extend our knowledge of algebra 1, but slowly become capable of tackling the BIG questions of the universe. We'll again touch on systems of equations, inequalities, and functions...but we'll also address exponential and logarithmic functions, logarithms, imaginary and complex numbers, conic sections, and matrices. Don't let these big words intimidate you. We're on this journey with you!
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.
For free. For everyone. Forever. #YouCanLearnAnything

Sal, I've been working my way through the videos in the algebra section on the website, and they've been quite helpful, but when I get to this one, I'm completely lost. I've heard of logarithms before. I'm almost completely certain they have something to do with math. This is the extent of my understanding of them, so I rather strongly suspect I don't have the necessary background to follow this video. Where do I go to get it?

I thought that with RBG you can only get 16^6 = 16 777 216 colors, not infinite.
@prump1
@prump1 12 жыл бұрын
im pretty sure that RGB and RBG is just opinion based. no one has ever stated that there is one specific way to say it. i mean its just red green blue. also his calculations were wrong. in a standard computer there are 255 shades of red green and blue, not 256. so there are 16 571 375 colors, not 16 777 216. maybe im just not counting zero but i dont know.

It's a bummer that these early videos are so sloppy looking and in such low resolution. Half the time I have a hard time reading it and have to go back to listen to what he says again. It would be great to take the time and re-do these videos since all of these series are becoming a long lived reference for students.

Stumbling into properties is not the best way to understand them. And watching other guy doing it is worse. People need to see that there is a reason in doing every step you did and that you aren't just randomly writing whatever comes into your head and watch what comes out of it.
