Because only Israel is colonizing and oppressing them. Just because I'm born in America but have ancestry in Italy or Puerto Rico doesn't mean I can go there and claim land as mine. That's ridiculous, they would understandably want to chop my head off. Until the settlers are fully removed and both sides can accept the two-state solution there will always be War that might destroy the rest of us along with them.

A Jew does not need a synogogue to pray. As long as there is one Jew and God, there can be prayer. As for synogogue, from the Greek, "synogogue" means "assembly". All's that's needed for a Jewish "assembly" is 10 Jewish males of age, a minyan, and prayers can be said.

Anyone can say they are a Jew which is impossible to prove. And just because you have ancestry in the land doesn't mean you are entitled to live on it. That is the definition of false entitlement and the world is literally disgusted by that. Israel is literally the only first world nation colonizing another people's land. They need to remove all settler expansions and both sides need to accept a two-state solution. If hamas and the Palestinians can't accept that they are dooming themselves.
@blindfollower
@blindfollower Ай бұрын
But that doesn’t change any fact. Judaism predates Islam. If you visit any Muslim country you will find archeological findings that predate Islam (likely Jewish, Christian or Pagan). Same goes with Palestine. The people used to be Jewish, they eventually converted to Islam. They are still the rightful owners of the lands, the Jews who come from other countries aren’t.

4:00 In Jewish tradition, each of the twelve tribes of Israel is associated with a specific symbol or emblem, often depicted on their respective flags. The tribe of Judah is symbolized by a lion, representing strength and leadership and kingship. King David, a prominent figure from the tribe of Judah, is often depicted with the symbol of the lion, and Jerusalem, the capital city associated with King David’s reign, is commonly represented with lions as well.

Let me ask 3 questions: 1. Can you give me the name of a prime minister, or king, or president of Palestine before 1948? One member of parliament? Maybe the names of the ministers? Where was the parliament?! Or the king's palace?! Maybe what is the name of the coin? 2. Could you give me the name of a "Palestinian" historical figure from 1000 years ago or maybe 500 years ago, or even 200 years? 3. Can you tell me what the word "Palestine" means? 4. As we know in Arabic there is no letter 'P' the correct word is palleshyttina, the Romans called the Land of Israel by this name because the Jews rebelled against the Romans. The Arabs say falestin or flistin, or filistin, and if they speak in English then they say balastine or balistin In conclusion: no one has any answer to all the questions. The truth is that before 1948 the land was called Palestine by the British, when there were both Jews and Arabs. Golda Meir had a Palestinian passport. And there is even a Palestine soccer team from 1939 that is all Jewish. The currency that existed here at the time of the British was the Bank of Palestine Eretz Israel, which was a Jewish bank. And he issued a currency called Palestine lira Eretz Yisrael. Today the bank is called Bank Leumi. National Bank.

Palestine was never its own state since the kingdom of Jerusalem during the crusades. If we follow this logic, the French are the real palestinians. But this logic is flawed, the people of that region are still at home.
@1surfer12
@1surfer12 2 ай бұрын
Why before 1948? There was no Arab push for a Palestine until 1964, and then it was only the area controlled by Israel. The "West Bank" had been taken by Jordan, and Gaza was controlled by Egypt. The liberation of Palestine only meant the destruction of Israel. The issue has been slightly blurred since then by shifting Palestine to include the "West Bank" and Gaza, but the intention is still the same, simply to destroy Israel. On March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein, who said: "The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism. "For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."

@@AhmedN.-ky8ii The "region" is bigger than just Israel. Many "Arabs" came from surrounding countries, which is still part of the region (aka the Levante). Israel is tiny in comparison and it's the indigenous, ancestral homeland of the Jews. There's no flawed logic here. There's zero ancient "Palestinian" history in the land. Read your holy book. French like the Arabs before them, who conquered the Levante in the 7th century under the Rashidun, came as colonizers - and they brought a foreign language, culture and religion, not indigenous to the land - as colonizers do.

"they never left brother. And they never were told they can't come home. Not saying it was all perfect but it's just not true that until the state of Israel came about the Hebrew people could not be in this land." Not true at all.. from the early 1880s onwards, while Ottomans allowed Jews to enter and settle in the broader Ottoman empire their policy explicitly forbid Jews to settle and buy lands in the area of "Palestine", in fear of a national movement that would undermine the Ottoman empire. Later the British also imposed restrictions on Jewish immigration and land purchases to mandatory Palestine, while allowing Arabs to enter the country freely, to appease the Arabs. "By 1949 the British had allotted 87,500 acres of the 187,500 acres of cultivable land to Arabs and only 4,250 acres to Jews. The gates of Palestine remained closed for the duration of the war, stranding hundreds of thousands of Jews in Europe, many of whom became victims of Hitler’s Final Solution. After the war, the British refused to allow the survivors of the Nazi nightmare to find sanctuary in Palestine. On June 6, 1946, President Truman urged the British government to relieve the suffering of the Jews confined to displaced persons camps in Europe by immediately accepting 100,000 Jewish immigrants. Britain's Foreign Minister, Ernest Bevin, replied sarcastically that the United States wanted displaced Jews to immigrate to Palestine “because they did not want too many of them in New York.” Some Jews were able to reach Palestine, many by way of dilapidated ships that members of the Jewish resistance organizations smuggled in. Between August 1945 and the establishment of the State of Israel in May 1948, 65 “illegal ” immigrant ships, carrying 69,878 people, arrived from European shores. In August 1946, however, the British began to intern those they caught in camps in Cyprus. Approximately 50,000 people were detained in the camps, 28,000 of whom were still imprisoned when Israel declared independence." - jewish virtual library, "Immigration to Israel: British Restrictions on Jewish Immigration to Palestine (1919 - 1942)"

Rabbi Yehuda Hanasi is a decendant of King David. He wrote down the Mishna, which is what the Talmud is based on. It was passed down orally. He was afraid it would be lost, so he wrote it down. A Nasi was the leader of the Jewish people if Israel had sovereignty at that time he'd have been its king as he was a decendant of King David. This is very holy sights at its the resting place of the families of the Judain kings. Beside being from the royal family, they were known to be extremely pious and rightious what we call in Hebrew Tzadikim. The lion is what Jacob called Judah in his blessing to him, and it became the symbol of the tribe of Judah it was on their flags. And then a symbol for the kingdom of David. Most religious jews know of these places. There are tourguides that will take you to all the Kivrei Tzadikim (Righteous Burials). Saying. Psalm is very appropriate and lighting a candle if there's an area to and its safe to. And if you go to Masada, you can see the Mikvaos, which is a very Jewish ritual bath.

It's interesting how they never talk about Greek imperialism in the region, or their modern-day descendants "not belonging there". Or how they supposedly don't belong there because they're not "Semites", since Greek isn't a Semitic language. They likewise never talk about the Roman imperialism and those modern-day descendants, or how they supposedly don't belong there. Nor do they ever mention Turkish Ottoman Muslim colonialism in the region; more non-Semitic language peoples. Nor do they try to absolve the connection to the land of those modern-day descendants of those Turkish settlers who now consider themselves "Palestinian" due to Turkish not being a Semitic language. I wonder why they feel that only modern-day Arabic speaking people belong in a region with so much non-Arabic history? It's always only about British colonialism with them. It's like their earliest memory began with the British Empire. And their favorite narrative is how "only Semitic language people belong there" and how "Ashkenazi are Turkic peoples", blah blah etc. Don't they realize that argument would negate half the "Palestinian" people's connection to the land as well? If Turkish Ottoman Muslim descendants belong there, why not "Turkish Jews" as well? They have no clue how ethnically mixed that region has been for millenia, and how modern day Jews, whether they're more Ashkenazi than Mizrahi, by blood, or vice versa, are nothing new to the region.

To point out on 10:00 Philistines may have originated from the Aegean region, which includes parts of modern-day Greece. This theory is supported by archaeological evidence indicating cultural connections between the Philistines and Aegean civilizations. Some scholars believe that the Philistines migrated to the eastern Mediterranean coast from areas such as Greece or Crete around the 12th century BCE. These migrants are thought to have brought with them certain aspects of Aegean culture, including pottery styles, architectural techniques, and possibly aspects of their religious beliefs.

@@AhmedN.-ky8iiThey’re Arabs, genetically or culturally not distinct at all from those in Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, or Iraq. Many of them actually originate from those places, their forbears having been economic migrants to Israel no earlier than the late 19th century. This business of trying to connect them somehow with the ancient Philistines or Canaanites is a new thing.

Moving towards reconciliation begins with acknowledgment Of the toxicity created by a colonial mindset that totally disregarded the interest of the Local peoples. At the same time, there needs to be acknowledgment that the state of Israel exists and generations of Israelis have built a culture and identity that is rooted in this land. If we can come together one day and dream about what is possible to acknowledging the shared pain that could be a path to a better future for everyone.

I watched a channel I can’t remember its name he asks Palestinians in the West Bank about Jewish artefacts from millennia before. Their response ‘it was planted there’. The fact that this is taught to these people at a young age is very wrong, but yet nothing is taught to them about the fact that before the al aqsa was built there is nothing of any Muslim history or artefacts predating it. You can’t just wipe history away and dismiss it as nothing just to suit your own ideology. It’s just crazy!

A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. 15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. 21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
