Question, I have a 25 mercury 2 stroke. If my propellar as nicks , small cuts, and slightly tip end bent will that effect it. Should I replace it? I believe this is why my water pump disintegrated. Thanks !

Since you're the marine /prop exper hope you can help. We have a twin Yamaha 200hp. 1 with standard rotation and another is counter rotation. However every single time we use the counter rotation outboard alone on forward it does not give the same power as the standard rotation (probably half or less the power even at max RPM). While the counter rotation unit on reverse it's even worst. Barely move or able to maneuver. Both on 17pitch props. Anything to do solving this counter rotation issue? By the way, we have inspected the prob hub/bush and its totall fine. The issue was there since day 1 the brand new outboard was installed. Tried using 19p counter rotation prop and its the same.
