2 жыл бұрынThe Audi RS5 has been one of Audis most popular cars since it was launched in 2011. Thought its two generations and two facelifts, it has gained huge popularity among car enthusiasts. But times are changing, and we are heading into electric and alternative fuels. This means this probably is the last fully petrol powered RS5, which is really at the end of its production. So I had to do a proper goodbye video, where I really showcased its beauty in the very detail. I hope you enjoy it. I think the new A4/5 are due 2023, Audi stated it would be the generation after that would be fully electric. Unless things have changed since their comments in January, I’d expect a mix of the last of the petrol, hybrid. Like the RS3 (incoming), there may be one last round (here is hoping)!

The designer of the A5 Walter Da Silva said this was the most beautiful car he ever designed way back in 2007. The guys that continued designing the Audi Coupe range have done a fantastic job, this is a beautiful, beautiful car and my all time Audi favourite, let's be honest we design waaaaay better cars than BMW and Mercedes. RS5 for ever!!!

Awesome video as always. I've a question. What is the difference between 2022 model vs B9.5/2021? All I can see is the steering wheel? In B9.5/2021 there is flat-bottom. Have I missed something?

@@Auditography I saw many of RS5´s from 2021 on mobile.de having the new steering wheel and I hate it. Definitely need to pay for the sport steering wheel as was in 2018-2020. It just doesn´t fit in that car.

I’m never going electric. I’m placing an order for one of these this week and trading in my M2 when it arrives. Luckily I work remotely and only put about 5000 miles a year on vehicles, so I’m just going to take really good care of it, and keep it for 10-15 years. Screw electric. Yawn

The moment you get in, your heart starts beating faster, instantaneous heart-brain coherence catapults you into the 5th dimension of consciousness ... and Holy Mother Hallelluya, you are in heaven! 😍😍😍 I guess this pretty baby was equipped with the optional quattro with sport differential and the optional RS sport suspension plus with DRC for those special corners 😊 I love this Vorsprung!

I'm very curious to see how Audi will do this, because there will be no more petrol cars will the RS models drive electrically? If so, I think that you won't get far with it because an RS model WITHOUT SOUND is not an RS car. (to me)

@@Anonymous-rl5bg we have rs5 facelift in the video.. b9 is from 2017. Probably a new model with a hibrid or this engine rebuilt.. idk.. I don't know what to say about the hybrid. Add too much extra weight ...

You are going to see the worst decision a car company ever made. Few want an electric car and following politicians desires who have a hidden agenda is crazy. This is going to be so interesting to watch. The looks on the CEO's faces when they go in the red real fast will be priceless. They will have unsold electric vehicles they have a hard time selling even when they sell them at a loss. You better think this one over! I have nothing against electric cars (I must admit the acceleration is awesome)for those who want them but they will become worthless when the batteries are shot. No one will want to deal with the cost of replacing them. Are you listening Audi? You better.

It's a nice car but this engine isn't great. The s58 from new m3 and m4 is too strong for this audi. The rs5 with a stage 1 is slower than a stock m3. (M3 in rolling is faster than rs6 so..😂. And i heard from many tuners and i even saw on a instagram page an rs5 b9 prefacelift after dyno test with only 422 hp.. with stage 1 barely produced 501 hp... i hate to say but in the last 2-3 years bmw is clearly better in terms of performance in every class of cars.. m cars or normal series..
