Thank you for all your help this year. 2022 has been a very bad year for me. Hit by car in February and been in constant pain in my knee ever since, in spite of a hospital stay and operation. My brother suddenly died in November and I’m still dealing with all that. HOPING FOR A MUCH BETTER 2023.

I made beef liver pate yesterday. Delicious. Unfortunately members of my household were not enthusiastic about the pate. One person eat a teaspoon of the liver pate. The other people had none. I eat the whole jar myself.

Where you find the receipt?
@kazzicup
@kazzicup Жыл бұрын
@@PaffordHomestead The recipe is from youtube. There are several versions. I graded one carrot, chopped one medium onion. I fried them together: the carrot and onion. Took them out of the pan. Then fried the beef liver in the same pan. I fried the liver in two batches. let the stuff cool for 15 minutes. I blended everything using my chopper. I don't have a food processor. I put a little rosemary and a garlic clove in the chopper too. I thought it might taste too beefy without the garlic clove. And I like garlic. 🧄 Salt and black pepper to taste. You can eat it right away. But it's better if you cool it in the refrigerator for at least two hours.

@@kazzicup A blender can work too if you have one. I think my Mum used to cook bacon pieces with/in hers and usually topped it with melted butter so it would set, help keep it fresh in undisturbed or unused part, and have butter to spread when used I think. We usually had it on Melba toast. Yummy! I think she did similar for both chicken and beef pate's. Unfortunately, I don't have her recipes but she is Australian if that influences things and also used to have Adele Davis health books, Betty Crocker cookbooks, etc.

26:22 - great point as i had to go to ‘dr google’ and find out that no dr ever offered an a1c to see if im pre diabetic or full on, as i had symptoms for years. i had no idea that sugar, breads, etc, was a problem. i was told to eat 6x a day, small meals. i got worse. so, thx to you and one other youtube dr, i dragged my hubby, kicking and screaming, do our local dr, some time back and boom, we were pre-diabetic. so, now we could do something about it and got under the danger zone but know we need to be more than just a couple points under that danger zone. my hubby’s right ankle was swollen at a heart dr appt and they said its nothing. i was floored. it was in fact pre diabetes. people, get out there and advocate for yourself.

So I was very skeptical of the Cornivore diet and its possible healing effect. I'm six months in and what I thought was osteoarthritis and what I was told was osteoarthritis has disappeared all together. I've also seen a 99% improvement in my psoriasis. I am a believer now and will live this lifestyle from now on. I've also seen a significant difference in quality of sleep. Hopefully the next six months will bring more benefits.

i'm at the Neuro ICU in Dallas - they automatically put me on "diabetic insulin"...after they checked my glucose, 89, the drs. couldn't believe i'm not diabetic and immediately took insulin off my med order. they wanted to know what i was doing...i followed Dr. Ken Berry's ketovore diet suggestions and i only eat 20-30 carbs daily and all the protein i can handle 😉 they said i'm the only one here that is NOT diabetic. Thank you so very much Dr. Berry for helping me reverse my type 2 (A1c 8.9 to 6.6). ❤️

ENT gave me a prescription for ofloxacin. I read the side effects, which she never mentioned, are horrible. Can blowout tendons in older people, can do permanent damage to those taking magnesium. Can cause death. I asked about amoxicillin; she said that was not the right one. Scared me. Will not take even though I wasted a $12 co-pay.

The liver pate recipes are: 2 containers of chicken live 1 pk.of grass feed butter Clean the liver in cold water. Put some redmond salt and live it in the frige for 2 hours. Then take it out and put it in the pan. Soute it in 1ts of ghee Let it cool for 10, 15 min. on the tray. Put the soft 1pk of grass feed butter😛( not the crapy seed oil butter🤮), in the food procesor with all the liver. Mix it well,it will change color a lit bit. Make sure after mixing the liver with grass feed butter to put it in the glass container. It can last up to 2 or even 3 weeks in the frige. No worries, becouse is not made from bad ingridience. You will love it. Ps: if you do carnivore, never buy ready pate from stores couse they add so much crap in it. Just enjoy your Proper Human Diet. And enjoy your only life you have👌👍. MEAT REALLY HEALS"💪🧠🫀🫁🦷🦴👀

Dr. B. I have been following you and all the other knowledgeable doctors for 3 yrs. I have been carnivore for two of those yrs. and Keto the previous yr. I’ve dropped 46 lbs., my arthritis pain is virtually gone and I’m not on any meds, except Progesterone. I’m 60 y.o. I was just chewed out and ‘told off’ on a social media post about not eating carbs. My ‘credentials’ were questioned and I was told I’m full of BS for saying that eating only meat, can be healthy. 😂. I named yourself and approx. 10 other doctors that I know follow the Carnivore lifestyle. Any advise on how to deal with RUDE social media people who insist they have ‘the’ credentials to tell me I’m an idiot? 🤣. I’m not upset … just amazed that such closed minded people exist.
@TrishCanyon8
@TrishCanyon8 Жыл бұрын
It doesn't require any credentials to realize humans had little to no access to DAIRY, GRAINS, FRUIT AND VEGETABLES until 15,000 years ago. So it follows that these items are not requirements for our diet or we'd be nonexistent.

For the people asking about low ketone level and how to raise it (or if it is necessary to be high). I personally feel better if my ketones are higher (above 1.0 reading). I have less brain fog and more energy with that. The way I raise my ketones is with more fat. Fats with MCT are better. Butter has MCTs, I put it in coffee or even just eat 1/2 a stick if I want to raise my ketones. Other fats (besides MCTs) will also raise ketones, it just takes longer. as they have to go through the entire digestion process and not straight to the liver to produce ketones. Bottom line, want more ketones, eat more fat. Take a look at Kelly Hogan's latest 80/20 Fat to protein experiment. She also discusses ketones and deeper ketosis by increasing fat. Is this necessary .. I have no idea. As I said, I feel more energized and have better mental focus with higher fat. Obviously, everyone is different and what works for me may not work for everyone.

hello! i watch your channel every chance i get and am very grateful for the information you share. i recently started carnivore (25 days in) and would like to know if its normal to get worse before you get better. i am a type 2 diabetic (diagnosed almost 3 years ago), i have high blood pressure (since my mid 20's and it has only gotten progressively worse), and diagnosed in july with breast cancer. i am a 47 year old african american female. 5'6" and 230 pounds. i wear a cgm and since starting carnivore those numbers have been on the rise as well as my blood pressure. should i be concerned or power through to the other side? thank you so very much!

Sometimes yes you can get worse at first. However, make sure you’re not over doing wet dairy and/or eating a ton of processed meat like sausages or deli meat. Make sure to cook your meats from scratch at home. Make sure you’re eating enough fat.

He also says fasting is not needed. I'm leaning to Chaffee's positions, he is clear and doesn't want to appeal to lager audiences, just say straight facts. Carnivore is the only proper human diet, the others go from acceptable to horrible.

You are tops in my book! I have only one caveat: You lump together all smoking - you don't make any difference between cigarettes, pipes, cigars. I hope that you will eventually look into this, and question the "standard" on this, just as you have admirably questioned the S.A.D. so convincingly. Pipe and cigar smoking generally does not involve inhaling into the lungs, unlike cigarettes. They need to be considered separately. Thanks for all you do.

You need to reverse your Diabetes, that should be your first priority. Likewise, you need to work on eating just once day (fasting will help to lower your insulin). What is your A1c score -- that is a very important indicator.

What is your take on diverticulitis and how to avoid flare ups. The general consensus is to eat whole wheat and whole grains, lots of fiber and avoid nuts, seeds, etc. I know that is totally wrong. The ER doctor that diagnosed me told me to get back on keto (which I had sort of slipped off of) and especially avoid wheat. I have done that. No wheat for two years but still I have a flare up. I have been really lazy on the rest of keto lifestyle lately but didn't think I was doing that bad.. Help!!!
@Pinkorchid72

They don’t have meaningful evidence on preventing diverticulitis. Carnivore diet should help a lot. The butyric acid that’s in butter, beef fat, tallow, pork fat is very good for the good bacteria in your bowels. Plus the butyrate reduces inflammation in the bowels. Make sure you load up on the fats…DR berry says at least your fat intake should be double the calories of the protein. That’s why people who eat ribeye usually load up on butter. Steak N butter gal on YT will eat a stick of butter a day. You can try that. Dr Chaffee says that plant, fruit, and veggie seeds make diverticulitis worse! Try the above for a month and see how it goes. Good luck!

@@jmjdickey you're so welcome! Good luck. Stay low carb but if you have to have some definitely don't include wheat or oats or grains and legumes, as those are inflammatory just by themselves and many people don't realize their bowels are reacting to that stuff

@@Pinkorchid72 I have been doing low carb on and off for years now and have been off wheat of any kind for years but still got a flare up. I usually go off for the holidays but never with wheat. I did have some popcorn. I know they say that it doesn't cause flare ups but that is the only thing that I can think of that I usually don't eat that I had so who knows. P.S. I had a really fatty cheeseburger for dinner last night...lol. Happy Holidays!

There are many "coaches" out there to help folks like me who simply cannot get into ketosis (NO, I don't cheat) but many are extremely costly. Can someone recommend a coach or two. Have been very strick (less than 10 g carbs per day) since Oct.1 with NO change in weight or measurements. Looking forward to the new year, but extremely "down" about the lack of results so far.
