PROPER Virtual Boy 3D Emulation on 3DS!

4 ай бұрынNow this is super cool - stereoscopic Virtual Boy emulation on the Nintendo 3DS! We've been able to emulate the Virtual Boy for decades but only in 2D. This was great if you couldn't experience real gameplay, but was missing the element that would give you a headache! You'll need a modded 3DS, but Red Viper is super easy to setup and play otherwise.

Yup. loving red viper. way better than the older VB emulator which ran at about 1FPS.... Decided I wanted a 3DS to play outrun in 3D. got one. loved it. tried to fix the 3D camera and killed the whole console.... Got another console, working cameras, soft modded again without issue. Loving it. so many classic games re-released in 3D!

Great news. Looks fantastic. I actually bought a Virtual Boy recently. The biggest flaw of the system is having a console that only the person playing can see what is going on.

Cool project, now I only need a 3DS. :) By the way, I think you get more views if you write a script and use a teleprompter, as this makes for shorter videos with the same information. Though of course this is a lot more work, so perhaps not worth it for you. Anyway, I really want to play Virtual Boy Wario Land now...

Just been playing some Galactic Pinball on my 3DS for this genius emulator....and i only have a mild headache! 😅Love the colour palette swaps, even if it is just 1 colour on screen at a time lol

Do you have a flash cart for it? There seems to be quite a lot of interesting homebrew and prototypes to check out.
