That video was perfect. I bought this MS170 cheap from a neighbor that couldn’t get it to run right. I stopped by my Sthil dealer and they found out someone worked on it and messed up the trigger mechanism. He straightened everything out and using your great procedure it runs like a strapped ass ape ! 😃 Thanks again !

This was Barry helpful because I’m going to barrow my dads Stihl chain saw to cut up my downed tree limbs… now I don’t have to Eff up his equipment in the process lol 😆

Nothing is worse than messing up Dads stuff. I kid you not, 5 minutes after I uploaded this video I got several paragraphs texted to me from my dad about what I needed to do now to properly put the saw away lol. 🤷

The heal goes on lip om the right side of the handle instead of your toes on the left side. As per the manual
