The wiring part is the hardest part, I will be afraid to attempt it. For a guy like me an old small block will have to suffice, but you never know. Great video.

I watched lots of videos and this is the most cleanest swap never seen before you guys inspired me after lots of mistakes i did trying to fix my big block on my 74 c10 stepside and finally gave up last year and now im been preparing for my swap i bought a 5.3 and 4l60 transmission samething i will put a dakota digital and coilovers suspension i think i can do it

I had a trans plug similar to, that. I popped the u joint out of the driveshaft & the yoke & I just used the yoke verses cutting a good drive shaft.

If I decide to do a motor swap 5.3 is the way I’d go as well. Definitely for fuel consumption purposes. Sure a six litre will give you more power. A 5.3 with a cam and exhaust with a tune would be plenty. For me anyway.

If your doner has anywhere near 100k+ I'd go ahead and do rear main as well while it's out. Timing cover seal and etc usually don't go bad as soon but they're easier to change in the vehicle than the rear main obviously.

4 Months is good! I work all week so I'm only able to do shit on the weekends. I estimated 8 months it'll take to me pull an LQ4 from an 02 denali and rebuild motor,trans, and transfer case.

The 92-99 2 door Blazer/Tahoe/Yukon is going to be a very desirable vehicle for collectors and builders in the future. Hell it’s already desirable and has been ever since they discontinued the 2 door body style. I think the 2 door 92-99 Blazer/Tahoe/Yukon will be more popular than the 73-91 second generation and may even become more sought after than the first generation but that’s a big maybe. It seems like they didn’t make a lot of the 92-99 2 door which is one thing that makes them so desirable. Especially the Blazer since Chevy royally screwed up and changed the name to Tahoe giving the S-10 the Blazer name. Anyone who has a 2 door would be smart to hold onto it because prices are only going to continue to go up on them.
