LEARNING COMPETENCIES:
The students will be able to:
1) describe the following properties of liquids and explain the effect of intermolecular forces on these properties: surface tension, viscosity, vapor pressure, boiling point, and molar heat of vaporization
2) explain the properties of water with its molecular structure and intermolecular forces.
This video talks about the different properties of water such as viscosity, surface tension, capillary action (capillarity), molar heat of vaporization, and boiling point. It also talks about the effects of the intermolecular forces to these properties.
At the end of the video, there is a discussion about water and its relationship with the intermolecular forces. It basically talks about the uniqueness of water.
