Ma’am I have 3 qns from Kidney….1. we know Tm for Glu is 375mg/min…then what will happen to the excess glucose if Transporter saturates or Glucose is more than Tm capacity 2. Why is limiting ph reached in CD 3. I’ve read somewhere that Pka of NH3 is 9 so it is mainly for chronic respiratory buffer while Pka of phosphate 7.4 is mainly urine buffer….is it true….why NH3 not a buffer in kidney…and if it is how kidney knows when to use NH3 or Phosphate as buffer Ma’am plz help … I searched a lot but these qns really confuse me

For first question watch this video: Renal handling of glucose | Renal splay | Transport maximum | Renal system physiology mbbs lectures kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hMWIhLqIuqmXfac.html 2. Limiting ph reached in CD because Hydrogen ion secretion starts thrrr 3. Because Pka is high it’s not a very efficient urinary buffer but it’s a definitely a urinary buffer and main importance is its synthesis increases when Hydrogen ion secretion increases. Watch my video on buffers for a better understanding
