My goodness if you get 2 weeks behind in rent in Australia eviction starts and you are listed on tikka which means you cannot rent again it shows up in checks

Exactly. I have commented about this many times. Also you break into a locked building in Aus you are trespassing and breaking the law. We have learned much from watching the follies of other countries.🤔🦘

@Chings001 Bizarre. People staying in flats without paying rent for a year! I can't get my head around it. On a show I watched recently the landlord was owed £30k....🤷‍♀️🤔🦘

Here in Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦 a Tennant is givin a form on the 2nd day of that month, giving the person 16 days to pay any rent arrears. If they don't then eviction process is started. I hope you have a great day Jo 🙂⚘️.

My heart just breaks for some of these landlords, honestly how anyone can treat somebodys elses property with such disregard is beyond me and they dont even care. And if a mother did have 3 children in that house with all those animals shld have her children taken away frm her shes not fit to look after them OR THE DOGS!!

Mr. Mansoor knew that the storage unit was NOT SAFE to live in, but rented it out anyway! Pretending that he was "concerned" was just a joke! Some people will do almost anything to get money!!! Disgusting! And when they go back to inspect the place he STILL HASN'T FINISHED CLEARING THE PLACE PR GETTING RID OF FIRE HAZARDS!! I WOULD BRING CHARGES AGAINST HIM!!

So let me get this straight. In England, landlords have to suffer the consequences of missed payments, damaged properties, pay for solicitors and Landlord Action advocates just because their institutions won't back them up and their politicians have allowed huge in-migration to what is a finite space, namely an island. Why on earth would anyone want to do this ? Ridiculous.

I realise these episodes are years old, dating back to 2017 or so. Have the tenancy rules and systems been improved? This seems a complete shambles! It's much too late now, but I think that woman renter with the kids and the rescue dogs needed to be reported to the child welfare authorities. Who would make their kids live in filth like that?! She seems to have had mental health issues.

I wonder if the bad tenants watch this program and understand what they have done financially to many of the landlords ? I was a landlady for many years: I was threatened with being beaten up, murdered, and threatened to have the building burned down.

Landlords, stop installing carpets in houses, its a headache. Spend the extra couple hundred, and tile it, or run floating floorboards.

So it is the landlord’s fault you are behind in rent and he upset your kids? How about it being your fault. As parents it is your job to provide for your kids. The Landlord does not have to pay for you to live. He has bills that you don’t care about. So sick of greedy self centered people.

It just bothers me when these tenants dont care that their landlord who only owns one house is running from bailiffs themselves bc they refuse to pay their bills or leave the house. No remorse no anything. These types are everywhere its hard to spot them at first but once you do RUN!!!

I apologise for the criticism. Don’t the tenants realise that the landlords are paying mortgage payments on two properties. It would be interesting if it was the tenant or tenants. In the situation that the landlords are in financial difficulties. I realise that rents in the u.k. have gone up possibly in the last 10-20years. I realise lve never rented unit or a house in the u.k. possibly never will. Never own a house or a unit. I hope the landlords have a positive future. Forfilling life ahead. I apologise for the length of this comment.😮😊

Please do not buy extra houses! There’s a guy on KZfaq who’s a real estate investor with properties. But he has millions to back up any problem tenant. It’s not worth it for most people to invest in extra properties. Same goes for flippers! Adding to the homeless problem

these programs are lacking one important information. what happens to the debt the delinquent tenants failed to pay. are they going to be sued to recover the monies or are they just going to go scot free.? disappointing for viewers

Yep I lent someone who I thought was friend money years ago. I took her to small claims court and won. She payed me $100 and I never saw the rest. I gave up and prayed karma would get her in the end. I know now she never ever intended to pay me back. Funny enough my gut said don’t lend her the money but I listen to my head instead. Always trust your gut instinct is what I learned. Valuable lessons learned from my mistake.
