Can I ask how you interpret these passages? I’m trying my hardest to understand the bible and its teachings, but a lot of it I find as cryptic stories and riddles. It’s only in the past 12 months or so where the veil of this twisted world has dropped for me personally and I’ve started to feel that God is real. I’m not from a religious family and religious education just wasn’t/isn’t the same in certain areas of my country (England). If I can’t understand something, I automatically switch off from it. Even more so in today’s world, where it feels like so many people are trying to lead us all astray and trust is at an all time low. I want to feel the peace that so many people claim to feel
