Pastor Skip, in my view you belong among those post-modern, very intelligent expository pastors with the reformed theologians who I regularly listens to. Calvary Church is really blessed to have this wise man as its pastor. I really like listening to Skip's sermons living about 500 miles away. Nothing is overdramatic or sensationalized, the sermons are matter of fact, yet grab your attention and hold it, the analogies are truly fitting, scripture is always followed to the letter.

Christ has already came in 70ad, He was sent to the Jew's and accomplished what it was the father had sent him for. He (Christ) will not be coming again this he done in 70ad. You either believe Christ lives within you or he doesn't, he is not of this world yet, thousands want to make his kingdom part of this world when he is not.... wake up they (pastors) have all lied to the hordes of people and taken their money falsely claiming that Christ is still to come, stop listening to these pastors and read the scriptures for yourselves and learn the truth...

What an amazing sermon. And, I loved the Thanksgiving/Rapture analogy at the end. I honestly think if more pastors taught like this, there wouldn't be so much fear and confusion among Christians.

Many live in Caves or Other Countries Don't Know Thanksgiving or that It's Coming, but here We Know when Thanksgiving is Coming, It's After Halloween and Many can hardly wait, Just Like The Rapture, After 1948, We Know between Now and 2068 We Will meet The Lord in The Air

We are living in dramatic times with a Glorious Hope in Christ that will prevail ! Luke 21:25 says " there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars...". -amen- Even as the wise men (Magi) saw the signs in the stars of the first coming of Christ; so too there are signs in the stars of His second coming happening right now. Praise God and Pass the Salt. The story of Redemption has been declared in the heavens by the hand of God and there is no place where their voice is not heard! -Good Word, Skip. Thank You

This update encourages me so much. 🎉. Before this teaching, I watched the first installment of the recent Bible prophecy series and was left a bit disappointed because I did not sense any urgency in the teaching “we’ve been in the end times for 2,000 years…” BUT THIS UPDATE makes me so proud of my Pastor Skip Heitzig - hoping the next installments of the prophecy series will continue to communicate this urgency. We surely are in the “end of the end of the end days” and I’m so glad my pastor is speaking of it as I usually supplement with Pastor Jack Hibbs and Pastor JD Farrag for prophecy updates. No your are wrong. Jesus has not retrieved the church prior to his arrival. The bible says when he returns the dead in Christ shall rise first then we which are alive & REMAIN shall meet the Lord in the air. Those who are still alive & remain after the tribulation ends will meet the Lord in the air & descend with to him to earth at the last trumpet sound, we do not go to heaven at this point

David committed adultery with a married woman called Bathsheba, wife of Uriah. what's more, David murdered Uriah by proxy by ordering all of Uriah's comrades to abandon him in the midst of battle, so that he ended up getting killed by an opposing army. The Prophet Nathan was sent by God and warned King David. well, Torah verses clearly say that both URIAH and DAVID Blessed by GOD. Well, the question is, if Uriah, David and Bathsheba go to heaven. To whom will Bathsheba be given? This question is ready to test the wisdom of all of you: The Bible [ Torah]: God promised that God had already chosen all three humans for heaven: David, Uriah and Bathsheba. I’m Looking forward to an intelligent reply. Note 1: God said through Nathan the prophet that King David was rich. Uriah was poor and had nothing but Bathsheba, a little lamb. Therefore, God here assured that the couple was chosen through the parable. David's prayer sought forgiveness and Later King David has been forgiven too. no doubt all three will go to heaven. If So, to whom will Bathsheba be given? Note: Matthew 22/23-30: There will be no right answer. The question raised by the Sadducees was about the impossible situation of a widow having seven husbands, all brothers. If Abraham goes to heaven, Sarah will be his wife in heaven. just as Mary will be Joseph's wife. Matthew 22:23-33/ It has a different meaning. You and your spouse love each other, live together on earth, and are true believers in Christ. If they go to heaven, they don't need to remarry. They don't need to create new babies. Note 2: Every reference to angels in Scripture is in the masculine gender. Angels are never referred to in any gender other than masculine. 2nd Question: Is Jesus a bastard? In the discussion Yosef Mizrachi said that he had proof to prove that Jesus had a biological father! But he has not yet made it public! Why?

It is impossible for Jesus Christ to come from a human seedline because God cursed it, except that Mary is from David's seedline and that is how God's seed was able to get fulfilled. If God wanted to put Eve back into Adam's body, there is no doubt that He could. Note here that only one Eve was created from Adam's rib. From that single rib of Adam God could create more of the female sex. But he wanted one. As time went on man multiplied and wanted more wives. God did not care, but accepted. Jesus says that there will be no marriage in heaven but. So, You and your spouse love each other and live together on earth and can be said to be true believers in Christ. If they go to heaven, they don't need to remarry. They don't need to create new children. Furthermore, Jesus says that there will be no marriage in heaven. It clearly informs us that there will be marriages on earth. That means there will be marriages even during the 1000-year reign of Lord Jesus Christ. No doubt.

Pastor Skip, I’ve heard the argument that the Rapture is a new idea or doctrine, you mentioned that it is not new. Please tell me more so I can be better prepared next time I hear this. no such thing as a rapture though many try to convince there is a reason for one. Christ came in 70ad and set up the new covenant with Christ not the one from the law of Moses. Christ lives within us, he does not need to come back to earth to save anyone. We whom are born again in the spirit already have Christ living within us. We know the Lord and ways.

I don't want to speak for Pastor Skip, but I would wager he is referring to the "myth" that this idea of rapture is a new idea that has developed over the last 100 years, or so. That's the common argument you hear from the uninformed secular world or preterists these days. The truth is, a pre-tribulation rapture was what was taught by the 1st and 2nd century church fathers.

With a television you don't have to be supernatural. God prefer that because it's more social but we have to use it correctly. Right now we have anarchy blindness. Despite the anarchy blindness I figured it out. That proves we can be God like. Only a person getting crucified would suspect something greater. Pastor skip, I have come across something that has intrigued me. In Matthew 24:9 after speaking about wars, famines and earthquakes Jesus says “THEN you will be handed over to be persecuted..” however in Luke 21:12 after speaking of the same thing Jesus says “But BEFORE all this, they will seize you and persecute you” Could this be accredited to the fact the Matthew is written to a Jewish audience while Luke is written to Gentiles? So gentiles will be persecuted first, and born again Jews will be persecuted after the tribulation starts. Maybe pointing to the 144,000 of revelation? Mark does not mention this at all in his gospel.

We are not in the last days. They were all fulfilled in the first century. You can't predict the future. There will not be an end for us. The end referred to in Luke 21. was the end of the Mosaic age..... not us.... don't be deceived.
