Moises is an Israelite and he speaks of Yahweh. Any so-called prophet that is not an Israelite and speaks of other gods will not qualify as the prophet mentioned in Deuteronomy.

Deuteronomy 18:18 When God says something through His prophets, we should take heed of what they say. But when God, Himself, restates a truth multiple times, we should take especial note of what the Lord is saying. Only a few verse earlier, Moses had informed the second generation of Israelites: "The LORD your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me. He will come from among you. He will be one of your countrymen and you shall listen to Him." This future Prophet would be even greater that Moses; all Old Testament prophets would look up to this Prophet for centuries to come; He would be the ultimate Prophet, the image of the invisible God, the Word made flesh, the only begotten Son of of the Most High Who is in the bosom of the Father. My question is after finishing the fard salaah, should we say allahuakbar and then 3 times astagfirullah or should we say 3 times astagfirullah directly without saying allahuakbar?? Something else worth mentioning is the fact that both Yashua and Moses are in heaven right now, whereas Muhammad is in his grave. Both prophet Yashua and Moses spoke according to Yahweh's will, he spoke directly to them and they never called upon other gods. First of all talking of analysing Jesus from what both the bible and the Quran verifies that he was born without male s intervention and that he ascended instead of dying naturally, I MEAN REALLY, WHAT DOES THAT SAY TO YOU, does this not prove that Jesus was not an odinary man or human being? I ve commented before mentioning that there is no where in the bible where Prophet Mohammed is mentioned, no where not even an arabic translation, if this Dr does not see the reasons mentioned by the Christians he claims to have spoken with that, The prophet being like Moses meant being a Jew and a brethren, why are his own reasons having more weight as he claims, A PROPHET and the man are 2 two different things hence 1 body or entity, when God said a prophet like you, he meant a spirit like you, that is why Jesus did miracles like Moses and that is why we do miracles like Jesus, the same spirit we carry, we are permitted by almighty God to do the same, raise the dead, heal the sick, open the eyes of the blind, Clearly the bible mentions that the angel of the Lord Gabriel(Jibril) appeared to the virgin telling her she will conceive a son, and she asked, " how can this be", luke 1 v 34, v35 the angel answered, " the Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the of the most high will over-shadow you. In matthew 1 v18 .....she was found to be with a child through the Holy Spirit. Is it true when John The Baptist said I am the voice one crying in the wilderness he was referring to Ishmael in Genesis 21:17 And God heard the voice of the lad; and the angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is.

What condition should this Prophet have that is similar to Moses? The fifth miracle of Isa in the Quran is raising someone from the dead. “. . . I give life to the dead . . .” (Qs 3:49). The Gospels record how Isa raised several people from the dead (Gospels, Luke 7:11-17; 8:40-56), including Lazarus (Gospels, John 11:1-46). ETC ETC..... You decide, But as for Me, the Prophet being described is none other than JESUS CHRIST.

It is amazing that christians can claim it is reference to jesus, and say he is like moses. If Jesus is like Moses then Jesus is Not God. If Jesus is God (or Begotten Son) then he Cannot b like Moses. It is a rather simple choice that Muhammad is More similar to Moses in many ways, even their names both start with "M". They both had normal birth and death. They were given prophethood and scripture and law. They were leaders to a nation, and told to fight wars. Both had to emigrate.
