Good knowledge by brother Adnan, mashAllah. I grew up in a Christian household, later reverted to Islam, Alhumdulilah for guidance. I knew of some of these these verses brought up by brother Adnan in this talk but not all of them. After embracing Islam I started studying the life of the Prophet Mohammad (p) and read the verses that talk about him in the bible but the one that really caught my eye is John Ch.16 v12-14: "I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you". The pronoun "HE" said 7 times. Prophet Jesus (p) is talking about a person to come after him that will 'speak what HE hears', 'HE will guide you to all truth', HE will glorify me' and so on. Alhumdulilah for guidance and Islam.

There are a great deal more similarities between Prophets Moses and Muhammad than the similarities between prophets Moses and Jesus, may peace and blessings be upon them all. But the most crucial point is that in (Duet 18:18) it says “from among their brethren, like unto thee.” So, it clear that it does not apply to Jesus because he is not really from the brethren of the Israelites. He is himself an Israelite. Deut 18:18 is repeated in Acts 3:21-25 after Jesus-pbuh was lifted up to Heaven which signifies that the prophecy in Deut 18:18 was not for Jesus-pbuh nor could it be for any of the prophets who came between the time of Moses-pbuh and Jesus-pbuh but for a prophet who came after Jesus-pbuh in the likeness of Moses-pbuh and from the brethren of Israelites.

Christians are confused in understanding what God is and what God does. What God is is the owner of majesty and perfection and he is the Almighty Creator of the heavens and earth, he created death and life and his perfect attributes never change, GOD IS IMMORTAL HE DOES NOT DIE, what God does however, he does as he wills in his infinite wisdom, Almighty Allah is far above his creation and does as he pleases, Almighty Allah is able to forgive the sin of his servants through his infinite mercy without any pagan like sacrifices let alone attributing partners or a son to the Almighty who is unlike his creation or anything that the mind can imagine that is the ultimate injustice/blasphemy to God and is a very grave sin (if one does not repent from it before death). Then the corruption and confusion in the bible began, that's why you find many different books and gospels by so called men such as Paul who claim to have had "visions" and or "inspiration" from God, altered the true message that Jesus pbuh originally preached to the lost tribe of Israel and not to humanity which was to worship one God as he said he did not come to abolish the law.
