I understand what you’re saying. I am a 77 year old widow. I job hunting, but until I find work, I’m living on Social Security of $1,145 a month, here in So Cal. God has blessed me with a room in the home of a couple from my church. For me, even a tithe is sacrificial, but I ache to be able to give more. This message has so opened my eyes to the fact I have not been putting myself in my giving. Thank you for all of this teaching. I ask God to make clear to me how to die to myself in the right area so any time I give it includes a deep giving of myself to God.

I struggle with helping the same people all the time. I believe they are using me because they know I'm a giver and they NEVER pour back into me even when they have a chance or are blessed. I'm sick of it and forgive me if I am wrong!
