Northumbrian culture is quite unique: Northumbrian pipes, regional accents, nice coastal towns, viking heritage, upbeat attitude and a very strong local football culture. And let's not forget Greggs sausage rolls, the national dish.

I used to play the Northumbrian pipes; and was apart of the Northumbrian pipes society. I honestly kind of regret my decision to give them up. then again I was in middle school

@@mrbenn2209 The Northumbrian Pipers’ Society have sets to loan while you get started, and a hire-to-buy scheme if you decide that you’d like to take it further.

The Northumbrians were literally formed by the Angles, from which 'English' and 'England' comes... It is those in the south who were settled by the saxons... Wessex West Sax, Essex, East Sax, Sussex, South Sax and so on.... Together we are the Anglo-Saxons If you want to pretend you're not english, despite the fact you should be very proud of being so, then you should refer to the North as Hen Ogledd and yourself as Welsh (Which is literally the Saxon word for foreigner)

@@samsativa245I mean West Yorkshire has a its own unique dna, but the rest of the north is pretty much just English yeah.
