Guys, you have to know as well that there’s a 10% deduction in your whole salary every cut off not unless you file for your taxes which is really a hassle to do given the requirements and waiting in line

Thank you teach! I personally open classes during morning and night time. Morning because students usually study English before going to school or work (like part of their morning routine) and at night because they just came back from work/school. Usually these hours are around 4 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 10 pm, Filipino time :>

Hello Bianca,, I applied Engoo last Aug. 15 and i received this email from them? Did i not passed the Language Test? "Unfortunately, we have now filled all available positions and are unable to proceed with your application at this time. However, we will keep your details in our records, and contact you in the future if more positions need to be filled." Do i need to re apply again? Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words!!! For the first step of application, it usually takes a week before they confirm if you passed or not. They might send you an email saying that there are many applications at the moment. Disregard this email because it doesn’t mean you failed. Good luck teach!

Hi Awebriii, I have learned many things on this vlog, actually I haven't heard of Engoo before but I have started looking for apart time job and I have few questions if you can shed light 1) is there an age limit? 2) how are you being paid - is it in peso? 3) business attire or business casual 4) How much do we need to pay to subscribe to Krisp I have 6 dogs at home and lastly 5) I have a full time job and can get online only around 5pm onwards will it suffice? hope you can read my questions. Hi teach! I'm glad these videos were helpful! I also have videos for the application process itself. 1. No age limit! Applicants must be at least 18 years old 2. Gcash twice a month in peso 3. I would suggest wearing a top with a collar with a blazer during tje application process. But during the lesson itself, I just wear tshirts HAHA 4. Krisp app premium is free for a month using the link in the description. With the price, better to coordinate with Krisp directly! 5. Engoo does not have a required number of hours for their tutors. You'll really when you want to. Hope this helps!

Hi! In my case, I'm always fully booked any time of the day. However, it's not the same with all tutors. I suggest opening your slots during peak hours like in the morning and at night to make sure that you'll be fully booked :>

Hi! If you will not pass your COR and SD within 30 days of account activation, you will have a 10% deduction from your salary. It's okay to not pass them po but there will be a deduction.

Hi! I'm glad to hear this. Congratulations!!! With the BIR forms, I filled out mine when I went to BIR mismo so that I can ask them for guidance. Back then, they only asked me to fill out my personal information so I'm not sure what they checked in that part. I would suggest that you ask them directly before filling out your form!!

Yes yes! I usually open during mornings and at night around dinner time. These moments are usually when students look for tutors because they're either preparing for work or school or they just got back home!

Teach pwede ka pa rin mag turo kahit nasa abroad ka. Basta pag nag apply ka nasa Pilipinas ka kasi need ng TIN niyo. Basta ang reason ni engoo, need nasa bansa pag magaapply para sa mga obligations natin sa BIR. Alam ko may engoo tutor din ngayon na Pilipino na nasa ibang bansa

Hi! I'm really sorry to hear that. I would suggest doing the following: 1. Open your slots during mornings and night (those with yellow lines and red lines) 2. Open your slots during in demand moments (red lines) 3. Open your slots in advance (preferably days before) to give your students more time to book your class 4. Use tags. Search this directly in Engoo if you're not familiar. I use beginners and advanced tags. 5. Open your slots regularly or during the same time slots consistently if possible to earn regular students. I hope this helped!!!

Hello! Since most of our students are Japanese, their activities will have an impact to our bookings. Example: currently, Japanese students are having their midterms exams which means that they have to review first for this. English lessons in Engoo will not be their priority. There will be times that some tutors will not be fully booked because of this. However, tutors can still rely on other nationalities as their students. Just experiment to know when's the best time to open slots :>

Hi! I'm not so sure with what you mean pero maybe you're talking about incentives? Engoo gives incentives to tutors who had at least 100 classes in one cut-off (P500) and another one if they have no cancelled classes (P500). So, in a month, you can get up to 2k worth of incentives :>

Hello! You only have to obtain your TIN and other documents once you've passed everything and you're hired. You have to pass your demo first. Once hired, Engoo will ask for your TIN (free via BIR)

Does Engoo allow its tutors to maintain two ESL companies at the same time?

I'm not sure with that po. Engoo allows tutors to work in other companies (for example, my sister works in a coffee shop). But I'm not sure if it's okay for other esl companies. You can ask them directly in their email Recruitment@engoo.com

mababawasan po ba yung salary if hindi 5 yung rating at kapag hindi mo alam yung meaning o tamang pronunciation ng isang word?

Ratings do not affect our salary. We'll still receive P60 per 25 minute class whether we have a high or low rating :>

Can you work in different companies aside from engoo like you're a freelancer in Engoo can you still work for Cambly?

Yes you can work in diff companies while working in engoo. But you cannot work in other ESL companies 🥺

Hello Teacher. Ask ko lang, I am really worried kasi I never knew about the rules na bawal pala magsabi kung pwede mag rate ang students satin or mag rate ng five stars kasi dati sa company ko pwede. Bawal pala sa Engoo, ano po kaya mangyayari sakin? Kakastart ko pa lang po eh, kinakabahan na po ako kasi bawal po pala yon at naglalagay rin ako sa lesson notes non sa huli. 😭😭😭😭

is there a contract when you apply? like example, hanggang 1 year lang yung contract mo ss engoo... and if gusto mo magresign, pwede po ba?
