I moved from Ontario to Alberta but other than houses, I find everything more expensive. Government services which were mostly free in Ontario are very expensive in Alberta. I found Alberta to be good for private businesses.

usually people prefer ON over AB but AB can give you more possibly of immigrate, I think as long as the income can cover my daily expense I love to live in nature ish environment than urban city vibe with less chances of PR for newcomers

Can resigning after completing the biometric process for the Canada TRV visa cause any problems for me? Currently, I am working as a software developer, and my biometrics have been completed. My lawyer informed me that I will receive my visa confirmation letter within 4 months. If I resign from my job now, could it potentially affect the issuance of the visa confirmation letter?

@@sheejalsingh5926 Yeah Indeed As I mentioned in the comment before all of the residents will get the benefit of free Medical Care and More over that the Tax is 5% For all the products and services you buy and enjoy whereas it is 12% British Columbia and the rest of the provinces.

@@sheejalsingh5926 All of them will get the same benefit as I mentioned Earlier. Alberta is one of the Oil Rich Province I'm Canada and indeed their Revenue is also high when compare to other Provinces. As a student you can enjoy the same benefits as others are getting. 1. You don't have to pay provincial Taxes for Purchases or sales (You have to pay only 5% Federal tax, whereas you are liable to pay 12% In other Provinces) Kindly note that, this is not about Salary or Income tax, that is different story. 2. Free Medical Benefits except Ophthal (Eye) and Dental (Tooth) but it can also be free in case of Emergency situtaion. 3. Salary Rate is high when compare to Other Neighbours ( British Columbia and Saskatchewan) 4. I'm not sure about the crime rate ehat others are mentioned earlier here As far as my concern I haven't experienced this from here. 5. Obviously Alberta Weather is bit tough during Winter but it's far better than Manitoba
