I nearly choked when you said the water was nose high when you looked out of the window. Ooooh that’s wild. I’m glad you outlined the differences between a river cruise and an ocean cruise. The room being underwater was definitely something I was not ready for. And they are lucky I don’t wear my pajamas outside of my room to go sit and eat. If I could’ve brought that food back, I would’ve went right with my pjs on and went back to my room 🤣.

I like that excursions are included. Food sounded very good and the river cruise looks more cozy... Maybe the room was a bit less, but overall I think that river cruise sounded more fun and more your cup of tea.

Haha it really is a pro and a con when the food is so good! I think I would really like being in the city longer rather than the ocean cruise experience because it's usually such a short visit. Good tip about picking the room. I'm not a fan of organized dining times - I prefer to be able to eat whenever I am actually hungry - my husband would never get breakfast because he's a late riser too. Great overview!

I definitely loved the fact we were in cities or towns longer. And with that you could, if you wanted, get off the boat and do your own thing. But the organized eating times are definitely not a thing for me. I never eat those times at home or when I’m traveling without the boat. So why should I have to then. Thanks for watching!

I can appreciate that everything is all included, including the excursions. I'd guess though that the River Cruises are more expensive than a generic, large Ocean Cruise Liner basic room would be correct? It's good to hear the food is all delicious. I feel like the River Cruises, because it's a smaller ship and less people that it makes it more personable and it's easier to access the stops in general. Oh question for ya, do they have a curfew? Like if they're docked at a city for the night can you go out and experience the local nightlife?

I definitely appreciated that everything is all included. It helped with budgeting and not having to worry about paying for much while on the boat. And yes in general, an ocean cruise is going to be cheaper but they don’t always include excursions which makes a big difference for me. And I loved the intimacy of the boat. Everyone including the staff knew each other by the end of the voyage. Lastly, they didn’t have a curfew for leaving the boat. Even the staff was like let’s go out to xyz club tonight lol. But I don’t club much anymore and definitely didn’t want to witness any type of Below Deck real life scenarios 🤣

Looking at the water eye level would scare me 😅I’m sure! But I like the fact that excursions are included in the price! By the way, how much was the river cruise? Food looks great and if you’re going to be there for several days, that is definitely important. Def will put a river cruise on my list of things to do.

Yeah I didn't like that water level at all. So I will definitely get a higher level room next time I go. Hmmm (goes to look up the price) the entire cruise which included all excursions, the room, drinks and food was $4,600. I booked it a year in advance and made monthly payments on it. They have river cruises in other countries that I'm intrigued in like their upcoming cruise in Egypt. Thanks for watching!

I'm not much of a drinker, but if it's included in the package, I can't turn down a free drink! 😄 If you're underwater, does that mean you see a lot of fish swimming by? 👀

Right! Can't turn down the drinks included! And I couldn't see anything under the water. I could only see the top of the water based on the window's location. But I don't think I would like seeing underwater lol. Thanks for watching!

Lol 😂 I had to work my way up to even booking an ocean view room on an ocean cruise. The idea of the water being up to your nose is making me nauseous. Let alone the sound from the waves hitting the window.

Girl I was quite disturbed at the level of that water. The worse was when that boat started up at nice and the water started hitting the side of the boat. So next time, I will definitely be on a higher level. Thanks for watching!
