I'm pretty sure the butt of "forgotten mascots" jokes belong to Busy, Conker and Banjo, Especially Bubsy. For Crash it's like they tainted him too much so they just stopped for a while before anything worse could happen (using Sonic as a slight example) and tried again later

Alpha Coo In the alternate ending of the first Crash game (if you collect all of the gems), there’s a slide show that reveals what happened to each of the characters/bosses after the events of the game. Cortex is said to have disappeared, but that he’ll likely return, as “Evil geniuses are harder to squash than cockroaches.” Hope that clarifies!

But yes please remember this is a DIFFERENT Tawna, not the same Tawna that we knew and loved. For one Crash states that this Tawna was having some fling with some other guy named "Shnathan". And the second and most important thing: *Spoiler alert:* This Tawna's Crash and Coco were killed by N. Trophy, thus she went rogue. Alternate universe timeline crap that I hope you understand.

I mean not to take it pretty far, but in the credits after defeating Cortex, the "Health Regulation" dude states that " *everything* in this game is *100% CANON.* " This could very well mean that the voice is canon, and that the true ending here is really their life choice (until Crash 5 but who knows.)

The first time I hear Crash talking normally was in Skylanders with his Australian accent. Many dislike that version but I don't really mind. I mean, Crash's a bandicoot, bandicoots are from the Austrialia - New Guinea region, so course he would have that accent. But this works too. Cool, smooth, handsome, western voice makes a perfect fit for his nature. I could imagine how Tawna would end up with him.

Crash generally doesn't seem to even be aware of what's happening around him, and honestly comes off as someone with no negative emotions of any kind. This makes me rethink how I view him.

I actually like this voice better than Skylanders. Not that I want him to talk anyways, but the narrating was solid. Should definitely hold that in future games (although rarely).
