Oxide was a HUGE jerk in this game... “Well, a Little vermin has collected all the trophies to become world champion...What took you so long?” “At least you haven’t collected all my Time Relics...” “Keep your miserable planet! IM OUT OF HERE FOR GOOD” “I, N. Oxide am the FASTEST driver!!” To add all up, he cheats by by starting the race BEFORE the green light is on and uses unlimited amounts of TNT and stuff to win a race. Then again, he IS a villain...

Papu Papu's race picture on the place always also looked ike a smiling face to me growing up(still does), but then you see his frown , I mean the racing place pic BTW! Also awesome video! ^_^ 💗🎮

People don't realize it but this game had a primitive version of "SBMM." Your opponents scaled to how fast you were. I remember Oxide being HELL to beat.

I hope Beenox makes Oxide a better boss to race this time around. He was a pushover in the original; you get past him and it is smooth sailing from there. I want to really earn that victory that stops the planet from becoming a parking lot.

N64 Luigi I remember when I left my Mario kart 64 for crash team racing on PS1, I’m afraid if they would remake crash team racing with online features because people will leave Mario kart 8 deluxe for sure. (I’m not saying that Mario kart games are trash but the controls are so bad compared with crash racing games, I had so much trouble with drifting on Mk games while on CR games; I had none).

@@purwantiallan5089 I find it interesting that in the remastered version of this Crash Bandicoot racing game, Ripper Roo delivering his speeches was slightly modified giving him exclusive dialogue where even he warns and brags about Oxide.

It's feels so surreal coming back to this after Nitro-Fueled. I grew up with CTR PSX, and I loved it, but a lot of those memories are have been blurred a bit by Nitro-Fueld and its graphics. Nitro-Fueled is the better version, but CTR PSX will always have a place on my heart.

because team are the different characters in crash universe that race each other, it doesn't describe a certain gameplay feature. crash crew racing or crash cast racing would have sounded too odd.

I remember seeing these boss racers on the time trail records wondering how I encounter these other characters I never seen yet? Then I realized where they can be found when I entered Adventure Mode with excitement. Lol I love there taunting cutscene dialogues too. There voices are hilariously amusing.

I really like this game, I'm still playing it with the little penta penguin, I have the PAL version, so there's no "penguin yay 1" or "penguin yay 2" and when he adquires the invincibility mask in the PAL version, the icon is not uka uka, that was fixed, the icon is now aku aku
